Had a problem in removing a thermostatic shower valve as the body was unscrewing leaving part of the valve in situ and impossible to remove. Used red Loctite to fix both parts together enabling both parts to unscrew together, thus fixing the problem.

Very strong chemical resistant bond if the manufacturers instructions are followed. Just be sure you don't want to take it apart again.

**Did not work as expected**Very disappointed with this product. The thread locker was extremely thin and had an almost water-like consistency, which didn’t seem right. I applied it as directed, but it failed to hold the thread securely and the fastener still came loose. Expected much better quality and performance from Loctite.
