Ray-BanRB3478 Rectangular Sunglasses

I'm not sure why there is so much discontent over these sunglasses being made in China; a great many very high quality things are made in China, like the coveted iPhones that people routinely love (Samsung guy myself and that's made in South Korea. Asian manufactures are really stepping it up). These are not the "old days" where something being made in China is automatically lower quality, inexpensive, and generally not worth your time. These sunglasses are no exception; they are very high quality and the branding is genuine - no knock off here.The optics are high quality glass and polarized. They provide an excellent, crystal clear vision experience while protecting against glaring sun. I have very sensitive eyes, especially when I wear my contact lenses, and these are SO much better than the cheaper drugstore glasses. Those drugstore glasses are great for throwing in the car in case you forget a pair, but after wearing these you'll regret that you did. It's like comparing comparing a pick-up to a luxury sedan - they both work but one rides much more nicely.The price on these is what sold me. On the Ray-Ban site something similar (I couldn't find these exact glasses), cost 50 or more dollars. Add in the Prime shipping and you have a great bargain. Out of curiosity, I walked into Sunglass Hut in the mall and compared them to other pairs of Ray-Ban's, some made in Italy and some made in China. There was absolutely no difference in terms of quality. They all felt premium.If you're looking for that iconic, authentic, Ray-Ban appeal then look no further; they are inscribed on both the temples and lens with the official logo and corresponding production information on the inside of the legs. These fit my average sized face perfectly. The 61 mm option would have been too small for me. If you're only hesitating because they are made in China, let me assure you that it's really not a concern you should have - the craftsmanship is superb and identical to all other Ray-Ban manufactured sunglasses.

My first pair of Rayban and I’ve always gone through cheap mall glasses. They were always cheap plastic frames with cheap plastic lens.Getting myself into these, they were very comfortable and fits like a fitted glove. All I did was adjust the noise cushions and I was set. No more need to adjust.The lens are glass and you can see they coat them in AR and polarized material. Most of my cheap sunglasses are just regular polarized coating only. With the extra step, you can see the clarity in them.Are they real? I don’t need to worry as Amazon have a good return policy if the items are fake. They’re real but sadly, made in China. I was hoping they were made in Italy.What I don’t like? The tolerances are extremely tight. There’s no room and when you move the arms, it creaks. As long as I don’t have cracked lenses, I’m happy.

Originally, I bought these Ray-Bans at a Sunglass Hut locally. It was the most I ever paid for sunglasses. I have always been the type to get those 10-20 cheaper sunglasses.After a few years, i sat on it and they broke. It sucked.So here I am looking at replacing them, Sunglass Hut is still $200. Why is Amazon 110?I do not believe these are fake, but they are not the same glasses you would buy at a Sunglass Hut.I would say The frames are the same, but the lenses are not.These lenses are a solid color, the original pair i had, the lenses were gradient dark to light, top to bottom. There is not gradient in color on the lenses. I don't see any quality difference just the gradient shading.This isn't a deal breaker for me at all. They work great, I used to use my original pair to drive at night because the bottom was so light that it didn't make it dark, but the polarization helped a lot with oncoming traffic. A contact lens correction actually fixed that issue better than using them driving at night so i stopped using them at night.I give this 4 stars because it it's exactly the same pair I originally bought as far as feel and 99% of the look. I would give it 4.5 stars if i could. To me the low cost, same quality, different lenses is worth the discount from the retail set.If you require the same exact lenses as the retail version, then these are not for you. Otherwise these are great.

Love if, fits perfectly and looks good as well! I love the fact that its made in China, they got quality down, better than any other country.

Great Ray-Ban quality at a reasonable price! I usually go Oakley Half Jackets but decided to go with these for a change- They are sturdy and I love the design!

I own 9 pairs of Ray Bans and these are by far my favorites. The bottoms of the lens have a lighter tint so I don't have to take of my glasses when using my phone. Great tight fit. Wore them to work today and everybody noticed them and gave me compliments and nobody's ever notice my other ones. I usually pay up to 300.00 for my sunglasses and these were only 100.00. Great deal. Highly recommendI do not highly recommend. They fell about 8 inches and shattered one lens and knocked the other one out. These are not real Raybans. Real ones hold up much better. These have got to be cheap imitations. I've dropped all my other one a million times and they never break one lens much less both of them. These are fake
