MARES REGULATOR SXS 62X

This is my first regulator setup. I was looking for something that was compact and easy to travel with and not break the bank. Looking at the SXS paired with the 62X and the matching SXS Octo, seemed to fit the bill and I like the look as well as the side vent. I tried to do as much research as I could on it. There are almost no reviews or ratings of it and only a couple unboxing videos. So I took a chance on it. Got it all together and as advertised it is a compact set up. Over memorial weekend, I took it out on its first three dive in Catalina at the casino point. One dive was a night dive. Water temps were mid to low 60s. I was happy with the performance had no issues. Breathing was smooth and comfortable. The weight and balance was nice easily forgot it was even there. Never felt it was pulling or weighted heavy. Breathing just felt natural. I never felt lacking for air supply are working hard to get enough air. All said and done I am very happy with my purchase and chance I took on it. I’m looking forward to many more dives with it.

Excelente compra, complacido con el producto aunque en las instrucciones del producto menciona que no es para utilizar con nitrox pero en el manuales de la página de mares dice lo contrario. Ante esto solo lo dejo con 4 estrellas.

Items were delivered on time and in sealed original boxes well protected in an outer box. All materials were new as advertised. I haven't been in the water with them yet, but it should work well for my 2 to 3 dive trips each year. I've been using a Mares MR12 since the 1990's and this new set is a welcome upgrade. Happy to stay with the brand as it has served me well for many years.

The product was delivered incredibly fast. The product was exactly as described. Haven’t dove with it yet, but don’t expect to have any issues.
