Better than Bissell
Based off the reviews and hype surrounding the bissell little green (pet pro version) I ordered it hoping to clean a water-stained Facebook marketplace couch and stair runners that were dirty/stained when we moved into our place. After cleaning half the couch though I realized how much I disliked the bissell and ordered this instead. This machine fixes several of my complaints with the bissell and it managed to get every stain out (which the bissell did not).Pros to this over the bissell:1. It has much better attachments, including a wider head and scrub brush that makes cleaning large areas much more manageable.2. The brush heads come apart for easy cleaning (bissell does not)3. Brush heads include a rubber scrub side and a bristle side for different cleaning needs (rubber worked better on our couch, bristle worked great for the floors and getting stains out)4. Cleaning solution smells better, works better, and full size bottles were included5. Spray actually goes where you think it will unlike the bissell where it was predominantly on my floors rather than the couch6. Easy to set up and maneuver due to small size7. Much lighter to pick up and transportCons/ways bissell was better (or equal):1. The shark has a much smaller water tank due to its compact size so I had to refill it several times throughout the cleaning process whereas the bissell did not require frequent filling2. The bissell had a slightly better suction and required less force to be used to get water back up (I still felt I got plenty up with the shark however just noticed it’s not as powerful)3. Both have very small hoses and you have to pick up /move the machine regularly to reach what you’re trying to clean which can be a painFor the price, I am very happy with this purchase and definitely would recommend it if in search of a portable upholstery/carpet cleaner!

I AM IN LOVE
BLUF: LOVEPROS:Pet hair catcherCleaners spot they call it a Self washThe tanks sit flap so you can set them down, you don't have to hold them- FLAT BOTTOMS! or Tops, whatever.CONS: Um, I'll get back to you ...So this is probably the 3rd or 4th one of these devices I've gotten. We have animals, and messes are a part of life. My bestie has the little green one, it was awesome when I was pet sitting and her boy got diarrhea 😞.So I got the step up of from hers, with the heated water tank cause hot water works better>>>And I hated it. It was hard to clean, constantly leaked, and made a bigger mess when dumping the dirty water tank. Literally gave it away.Anyway, I have one in the repair shop, covered under a warranty, but that leaves me without. I have to take a trip for family stuff and am leaving my better-half with the 7 month nervous puppy with tummy issues, 2 other dogs, several indoor outdoor cats, chickens, and it's spring-ish. So there is mud, sap, poop, vomit, and a puppy with a tail that has killed my coffee more times than I can count. I knew I couldn't leave him without something. I took a chance. This came today. I'm packing and prepping and lo and behold, puppy takes out my coffee, again, all over my kitchen chair.. So I sighed, cleaned up the floor, gave him a carrot to distract him and set to assembling and using this. The problem with so many of these, is that pet hair causes so many clogs. And the place where the hose connects to them is like a U-turn so clog, clog, clog. Or the suctions good for a while and then sucks, or doesn't 🙃This has 2 pet catcher thingies. And although I was using this on a kitchen chair, the cats nap here when I'm not using them, so I decided to er on the side of caution and used the pet hair thing. It's also easy to set up. The water tanks have flat spots so when you flip them over to fill them, I can set them on the floor or counter and it doesn't fall over. I don't have to figure how to hold the damn thing and fill and whatever. Yay! This is a huge win for me. Someone really thought about the design. So I get the chair cleaned. Then I look at the pet hair catcher. Eeeew. But yay again. It was easy to clean. And it has the cleaner thing on it to clean the hose so it doesn't get yucky or smelly. And the little tool, the others just slide over it. Easy.Another thing I like about this is the handle is big enough you can squeeze the trigger, and then move your hand for the back and forth action and not be constantly accidently hitting the sprayer thing. Hate when I make more work for myself.Suction seems good. Won't know until I tackle other stuff or after I've used it a few dozen times. The self wash was easy. I haven't wrapped it up yet. I'm literally so excited. I am sitting here writing this review and not doing dishes or packing as I should be. I think if I find the spoons, I'll get to my man's chair, and maybe my yoga mat so it has a chance to dry before I get back ... My chair is still wet, well damp, not wet, and I won't know if the coffee came out yet for a bit. Let you know.I'll get back to you on the cons of I find them.

Small But Mighty—This Little Shark Packs a Serious Cleaning Punch
We grabbed the Shark StainStriker for those “uh-oh” moments—think pet messes, mystery couch stains, and whatever chaos kids manage to spill. Right out of the box, this machine impressed. It’s lightweight, easy to carry room to room, and the included attachments make quick work of everything from upholstery seams to wide carpet patches. What I Liked:• Suction power is no joke. It pulled deeply embedded gunk out of our area rug like a pro.• The dual cleaning solution (no premix needed) feels like magic—squeeze the trigger and let the foamy vengeance begin.• Tools are versatile and well-designed, especially the wide path and pet-specific attachments.• It’s small enough to store in a closet without needing a new zip code. What Fell Short:• The clean/dirty water tank sizes are decent, but not huge. For bigger jobs, expect a few refills.• If you’re switching tools mid-clean, you’ll want to keep a towel handy—some dripping is inevitable.Pro Tip: Use a slow pull when extracting liquid—going too fast won’t give the suction time to do its best work. And always flush the system with clean water when you’re done to keep things smelling fresh.Overall, if you’re dealing with pets, spills, or just want your furniture to look less… lived on—this little machine is a solid investment.
