Comfortable & Hygienic Facial Interface for Longterm VR Use
Great silicone facial interface, it kept it's form for me after 2 years of heavy usage. Feels good on the skin even during intense sessions with sweat. Hygienic, easy to clean while remaining comfortable, just wipe it down with a cloth after each session. It's easy to clean by squirting some hydrogen peroxide onto a wash cloth and then wiping it down, and then repeating that again with water, followed up by wiping it down with a dry cloth. Has kept mine nice and clean over the years.

Much better than the original foam one.
I was having a hard time with my Meta Quest 3. It was giving me the "Can't find position in room" error constantly and frequently in the middle of game play. I realized that the sensor inside the headset near my forehead was either dirty or being blocked by something. I cleaned the sensor, but was still getting the error message. I purchased this in the hopes that it would maybe resolve the issue since the original foam was overly soft and squishy. Even though the price was higher than I wanted to pay, changing out the interface finally resolved the issue. Now nothing is being compressed, folding over and interfering with the sensor. It is also much more comfortable and easier to clean than the OEM foam/fabric one. I have not noticed any heat retention or increased sweating while wearing since I started using it. I highly recommend it if you are looking or needing to replace the facial interface for your headset.

Very comfortable, distributes weight evenly around face
Perfect fit, I’m a tall female. I tried another brand people said was more comfortable due to having wider forehead room but I disagree! This one distributes the weight evenly around the face. A unit with a wide forehead piece makes the entire weight of the headset sit in your cheeks. Who wants that?

Great product but the price is high
Having tested the silicone face mask extensively, I can attest to its remarkable effectiveness in providing a snug and comfortable fit. The material feels gentle on the skin and creates a reliable seal, offering excellent light blocking. The mask seems durable. The added benefit of easy cleaning contributes to its long-term value. The design ensures breathability without compromising safety. However, the cost is relatively high compared to similar products in the market. While the quality justifies the price to some extent, budget-conscious consumers might find it a substantial investment. In summary, if you prioritize effectiveness, durability, and comfort, this silicone face mask is a solid choice. However, be prepared to pay a premium for these features compared to other options available.

Practical Upgrade for Active Gamers
After using the standard cloth interface on my MQ3 for six months, I decided to switch to the silicone facial interface, especially as I started increasing my use with fitness apps. I'm very happy with this upgrade. The silicone is much more practical when you break a sweat during gaming sessions. It's easy to wipe down and feels much cleaner than having your sweat absorbed by the cloth interface. The instructions provided with the silicone interface were a bit lacking in detail, but a quick online search helped me find a helpful installation video. I'm curious to see how well the interface holds up over time, but so far, I'm very pleased with this purchase. It's a solid improvement for anyone who uses their MQ3 for fitness or intense gaming.

What the quest should have come with this standard
In my opinion meta shouldn’t have cheaped out and this should be the default facial interface. It’s hard not to work up a bit of a sweat while playing and the cloth original one just soaks it all up, gross! I will say unfortunately with it being silicone it doesn’t lend much for ventilation so I find the lenses fog up a bit more easily - they should consider a slight redesign with more airflow. Even still, great upgrade to be able to quickly clean your facial interface and it’s comfortable to wear.

It's a rubber on your face
It blocks more light and is more gentle on your face. Until you pull it off. Then it sticks a bit. But over all it's better. If you mess with all the adjustments I think you can get the cloth face piece pretty close to this but not quite as far. It is easier to clean. You'll never get cloth clean as easy as rubber.

Comfortable and easy to clean
Fits exactly the same as the original cloth. Feels really great against your skin. Was originally concerned it might feel sticky once I start to sweat but this wasn't an issue at all. The silicone feels cool to the touch. Once the headset's on, the materials temperature is neutral; not hot or cold. Easy to clean: I usually pop it off and wipe with a damp cloth. Durable: as durable as the original part and has been solid for 5 months of constant use.

Passt perfekt, sitzt perfekt.
