Used this as an upgrade from the 5NM fanatic brand power source. Huge difference and way better performance. Way better than the factory power brick, 100% worth investing in. Quickest, easiest, and cheapest way to increase your racing sim’s performance!

Great alternative to the official Fanatec adapter
Several people recommended this to me and I'm glad they did. It's less than half the price of the official Fanatec adapter, but works flawlessly with it. Once you get it hooked up, you can see in the Fanatec app that it is recognized as the official 180 boost kit. The extra power form this makes my setup really come alive. I would highly recommend this for your setup if you're still on the original 5nm power supply.

Great power supply. Will disrupt base station tracking
Great and much cheaper than the fanatec one. If you’re wired PCVR be aware that this will greatly increase the radio frequency interference coming from the wheel base and will completely stop base station tracking in the valve index and possibly other base station headsets. The stock 5nm power supply makes the tracking better but not perfect. If you’re wireless with a quest streaming PCVr it works perfectly.

Excellent boost kit at a good price
Instant bump in power for my steering wheel at more than half the price. I will see how long it last before making my final review. But I would consider this if you are looking to upgrade to 8nm

Half the cost but all the power.
Works perfectly on my Fanatec DD GT Pro wheel for GT7. Half the price and works perfectly! Save the money and get this one for half the price.

Must get to save money
Works perfect!! Way cheaper then Fanatec boost power supply. It does recognize it as a boost under the Fanatec app. Highly recommend!!

Small gain - much better feedback
Got to admit, I was a little sceptical and bought it on a whim. At half the price of the official Fanatec item - I was willing to give the 8Nm 'boost kit' a try, over the standard 5Nm rated item. It's worth it. For such a subtle increase in overall resistance, it makes the feedback more solid and perhaps even a bit more rewarding when trying to control a slightly unruly car. The Fanatec app instantly recognises it as having the Boost Kit applied and overall, I would highly recommend this. Given that I almost purchased the 8Nm Fanatec offering from new - I'm glad I waited and saved around £60 for this option.

Amazing power supply for half the price !!
Great product !!!! Highly recommend. Turned my Fanatec csl dd 5nm to a completely new feeling unit, was very impressed with this power supply! Wish I had upgraded to this sooner lol !!!
