Great Quality, Excellent Idea and a Lot of Fun
An all round well made product. The cards themselves are a good size, good quality and shuffle well. The questions are insightful and can really get you thinking. The addition of the ask me anything cards, I think is a brilliant idea, as it adds endless amounts of fun and replay value. An interesting tool for improving emotional literacy either in adults or children.

Good set of cards that can be used as regular cards
I'm always looking out for things that can be used with people I work with, games is often a universal way of connecting even in difficult situations. Cards are visual, they can ask questions indirectly and answers can be given indirectly where directness can get nothing. It's nice that these cards are slightly oversized, it makes sure text is nice and big. There is a bit of variety in the cards especially the numbered ones but I did feel like the face cards were a bit too generic, but good enough. My only real complaint about it is that it isn't a bit more directed about ideas on how to use them. Yes I have my own ideas and will do it, but sometimes its nice if you get pointed in a direction to start. The set has nothing other than the cards, with a brief blurb on the back of the packet with some basic regular card game descriptions.Pack also contains 2 jokers as standard.

Great product
Absolutely brilliant product, best I've ever bought on Amazon. Signs of depression or anxiety in children can sometimes look like normal behaviour, particularly in teenagers who can keep their feelings to themselves. With this game, you'll be able to open up about your feelings and emotions you're going through. Best game to have with the family specialy my 5year old son as we can have more understanding of what he really feels about everything that is happening around him. So grab yours now, great value for money!

Emotion and thought challenging questions.
First time we used Deck of Emotions cards with family and we are very impressed by the effect of the game on us. Well thought out questions which require understanding of our own emotional well being. It is a hard subject to talk about feelings, but the sense that one is playing a game makes it easier, it opens up subjects that are sometimes challenging to talk about. I could imagine that this would be a great tool in schools to help the younger generation to nourish their emotional wellbeing.

I expected more
Quality-wise, these should last like a standard deck of cards. Otherwise, I found them disappointing. There were no guidelines on how to to use the emotion images and questions, and the choice of these on the cards actually felt like very little effort had gone into them. The artwork seemed lazy and uninspired. I like the idea, but the execution here is really weak.

A multi purpose pack of cards, play games and explore emotions
An interesting idea which combines a standard deck of cards with emotion exploring questions. The box says they are designed for age 6+ and the questions would certainly fit that age group. They revolve around four main themes - Happy/Sad (Diamonds), Trust/Respect (Spades), Love/Hate (Hearts) and Fear/Anger (Clubs). Each suit has similar questions around it's theme which explore the who, why, when and what made the person feel that emotion. It's a nice idea however I'm slightly conflicted about these cards. For a younger age group I think they lack in visuals/colour. Learning about and exploring your emotions at a young age is tricky and visuals often help. There is a reason we also tend to show pictures of how a person's face might look, as this aids understanding. These cards look a bit too grown up to use with younger children. They could certainly be more suitable for teenagers, who might also be more likely to use the deck for an actual game of cards. On a practical level, the cards themselves are slightly bigger in size than a standard deck and, personally, I would have preferred a plain white background to the card face. They have a silver/light grey pattern of words, speech bubbles and punctuation marks which I find distracting and just too "busy" visually. The larger size makes them a bit more of a handful but they do slide reasonably easily.Overall it's a nice idea but I'm not entirely sure they tick all the boxes.
