I had never used a keyboard protection cover on my own keyboards, as over the years whenever I had come across covered keyboards I found them to interfere with the feel & action of the keys. However having spent a fortune on a new MacBook Pro & my past experience of the costs involved to get a repair. I looked to find something offering better performance, when I came across this model, being made by a company I have some respect of! Having used this cover for several months now, I can honestly say that it has saved my keyboard repeatedly. It fits perfectly & once installed, other than for a slight colour change (To a dark hazy grey, which actually helps soften the contrast of the black keyboard on my aluminium model). The keyboard backlighting continues to work pretty well as normal too. Indeed I believe that had you not been privy to its installation most people wouldn't be able to detect it, as it fits so well. The fingerprint reader key works perfectly (As the cover leaves this uncovered.) I have never found the membrane prone to lifting or being easily dislodged while typing ether. It does oh so very slightly cushion your fingers, but is actually, quite comforting. Yet when you wish to remove the cover for cleaning, it is very easy lift away and can then even be washed under the tap and dried before refitting. As an investment in protection for your expensive notebook keyboard, it is well worth having. It has already saved my machine from unexpected splashes from nearby spills and while it isn't claiming to be waterproofing your keyboard, it does a great job protecting it from life's little mishaps & prevents dust, finger grease & dirt from gaining entry under your keys which will ultimately lead to damage. I admit to being a real sceptic as to the practicality & usefulness of any covering membrane previously. As all those I had ever come across, had been nothing but an obstruction to typing and often to the detriment of the look of your notebook too. So the above comments, are high praise, indeed.

This is the best keyboard cover I've ever had! Very well made, fits perfectly, material feels nice to the touch and is easy to type on. This tinted version blends in really well with the black keyboard deck of the MacBook Pro. Very happy with it!

It's great for what it is - protecting your keyboard from fingerprints, oil, dust and all that goes underneath the keys. Not adhesive, so people with very sticky fingers - beware. Has adhesion stickers in the pack but it is half measure. What it's not great at is typing experience. Basically it makes your keyboard feel the same as iPad smart keyboard - mushy non-tactile experience with way more force applied to press each button than needed. So if you value tactile feel over protection - and MacBook keyboards were never really famous of this anyway - don't buy. Also it raises keyboard profile ever so slightly, so consder this if you are using non-magnetic screen protector or privacy screen and concerned about force applied to it when closing the lid. Keyboard backlight is visible and absolutely ok.

I purchased a lot of covers before trying this one and this is by far the best. It fits the MacBook Pro M1 (16”) perfectly and you can remove it and clean it just as easily. No creases or bumps that were common with other covers. It’s not as transparent as you’d expect but that’s not a big issue for me considering the protection it offers.

I've tried a few keyboard protectors, and these are by far the best. They're not silicone, quite harder and more tactile. But they don't fall off as much, and they're easy to clean when you accidentally forget that you told yourself you wouldn't eat mcdonalds fries and type at the same time

This cover is almost invisible but does a fantastic job of keeping dust and spills off my MacBook keyboard. Typing feels natural, and it doesn’t interfere with the backlight. Such a small purchase but a huge upgrade in keeping my laptop clean

I recently bought one of these for a macbook pro max 2024.....works perfectly! So I bought another, that didn't work perfectly. The more recent one I bought was for a macbook pro 2021 (same size). The recess for the main return key (right center) on this keyboard is horizontal, whereas the 2024 mac has an L shaped return key with vertical hight. So the cover does not work for my 2021 mac as it catches the / key every time I press return. It's a shame, other than that huge oversight, it's a great product.

After spending out the best bit of £2,000 on a apple lap top made no sense not to buy a protector For it and this one is a good one at a decent price .

Mon objectif principal était vraiment la discrétion pour altérer le moins possible le design et je dois dire que je suis agréablement surpris par ce coloris gris qui se confond plutôt bien avec la finition « Noir Sidéral » du MacBook Pro (M4-2024). En fonction de l’orientation et de l’éclairage il arrive même à disparaître parfois. Niveau design : 8/10 J’aurais toutefois aimé plus de précision et un ajustement parfait avec les touches (voir la photo du léger décalage sur le bouton Touch ID) et déçu de voir ce logo Ghostcover sur la barre espace (il donne une impression de défaut dans le revêtement de loin). Mais sinon ultra fin, discret, couleur top, aucune gêne pour fermer l’ordi, même avec une protection microfibre en plus par dessus Niveau fonctionnement : 7/10 L’ajustement n’étant pas laser, ça crée comme une sensation très très légère de trop grand. Ceci dit, la protection ne bouge pas une fois en place. L’épaisseur du produit amène également une sensation de frappe différente qui peut surprendre au début (concrètement ça veut dire qu’on perd un peu en sensation et que sur une longue phrase il y a p.e 1 ou deux lettres qui n’auront pas été prise en compte. Sûrement une habitude à prendre pour accentuer un poil la frappe) Malgré tout ça je laisse 5 étoiles car je pense que cette protection va pouvoir bien protéger les touches de mon clavier dans les années à venir.

Excelente y muy resistente

Es hat bisher immer gestört, wenn einzelene, oft verwendete Tasten mit der Zeit etwas wie fettige Fingerabdrücke hatten, die man nur mit Mühe wieder beseitigt bekommt hat. Dann habe ich diesen hauchdünnen Tastaturschutz entdeckt und das hat sofort Abhilfe geschafft. Die Abdeckung passt perfekt und ist kaum sichtbar. Das Tippgefühl ist angenehm und der Laptop lässt sich wie gewohnt zuklappen. Empfehlenswert.

sono soddisfatto di questo acquisto, in quanto non potevo più vedere la tastiera del Mac sempre sporca e con aloni, e nonostante avessi cura anche nella pulizia, sembrava che avessi mangiato patatine fritte prima di digitare sulla tastiera. Questa cover è un'ottima barriera protettiva che preserva la tastiera del MacBookPro prima di tutto dalla polvere e poi dalle varie contaminazioni dovute alla digitazione. Se proprio devo trovare un appunto per questa cover, in alcune occasioni riflette la luce ambientale nascondendo leggermente le lettere e simboli sottostanti. Avrei dovuto acquistarla subito insieme al Mac!!!!
