CAMVATE Mini Ball Head Microphone Mount with 5/8"-27 Male & Female Adapter

I'm using this mainly to hold a fairly weighty condensor mic at "just the right angle" for recording saxophone. The angle using the mics built-in mount was just short of what I needed, and I wanted to try this before reaching for a boom attachment. This seems very sturdy despite the low cost, and shows no sign of strain. The best is that I don't need to lose all the area that a boom would take up, so it's easy to recommend.

I have a unique mic setup where I can't use a 'C' Clamp style adjustable mic stand because the coffee table I use for my online setup has decorative edging which blocks the use of a 'C' Clamp. The table is also too wide to allow an extra long 'Boom" mic stand to work from behind. Can't use a 'Boom" stand in front of the table as there is limited room between the couch and the table.The only solution is to use an extra long 'Boom' mic stand from the side, parallel to the couch, but I need a right angle to get the mic pointing toward me.This adapter solved a very messy, unique problem for me. Highly recommended.

Just what I needed to place a couple of Sennheiser's on drums that the clip will not attach to the rim. Very well made. Price is good.

With this I have a Samson Q2U microphone mounted onto a RODE PSA1+. I can easily position the microphone exactly how I need and I am satisfied.My original order for this was missing both end pieces. The replacement is working fine now.What I originally received was just the ball joint middle section with 1/4" screw sizes on both ends. It seems that the middle part is mass produced and other variants of it are made by adding adapters. This is one of the only products I could find to fit my needs with 5/8" thread sizes.

I'm just glad this thing exists. Happy that some manufacturer has taken the time to make something that probably is not universally in demand, but does the job for a special application.It works precisely as I needed it to, which was to position a mic in a specific way with a long-armed boom mic. It holds the position indefinitely and is fairly heavy duty. So... good job.

I picked up one of those cheap Neewer mic arms and the only thing I wish it had was a ball head for better adjustability. Enter this part here. If you wish you had more flexible adjustments for your mic placement, this is well worth the money!

This adapter is just exactly perfect for my needs. I have a classic share 55 microphone that was too close to me earn I played my guitar, and sang. But this adapter gives me the ability to hold my guitar in a comfortable position while still having great access to the microphone.
