Wall heater thermocoupler
My wall heater is now working thanks to this inexpensive thermocoupler. I installed this myself (female age 57). I also changed out the one in my tenant's unit. Easy to install.

Cured my fireplace hard starting problems
When I noticed that my fireplace was taking longer to start, I read in the manual how to measure the thermopile output. Mine was low. This replacement was an exact fit. Of course the fireplace design required removing the glass, logs, grate etc. But once installed and the pilot lit, the voltage was measured over 300 millivolts and the natural gas flowed immediately. Really nice when it works the first time!

A good copy of the original part
This was pretty much exactly what I needed to replace the thermocouple in my hanging garage heater. It was a bit on the tight side to install, but eventually I was able to gently tap it in place and hook it up to get my garage heated up again. I have a warmer garage now and I don’t have to freeze my fingers while doing work in there.

Compared to what the fireplace repair places wanted for this part it was dirt cheap, and fixed my problem.

It fit
I was pleased that it fit my Heatalator unit. It's been in 3 weeks and it worked fine during that time. All of a sudden the thermopile quit working and now the fireplace is once again useless. Don't know if it's the aftermarket non-quality or what but the bottom line is the fireplace isn't working. It's a lot of work to change these out and I would expect better longevity than 3 weeks.
