Pyronix 12m, PIR

This is a traditional PIR for a wired burglar alarm system. It has a white plastic housing in traditional design so doesn't stand out. It's easy to fit, especially if you're placing an older detector, just screw the wires into the terminals and it works. The build quality is comparable to much more expensive PIRs and it works just as well.

Same great product from pyronix as always, great value for money. If I had one negative, it would be the blue led activation light is very bright.

Good item

This is a nicely made PIR and feels good when installing. As has been mentioned before, the blue led is impressively/unfortunately bright, depending on what you want, I installed this in our bedroom and it can act as a good night light if that's what you like, but I ended up disabling the led (which is simple to do) because it was disturbingly bright if you got up in the night.

Others have said its too bright, I've got four and they’re not that bright, they’re different! Instead of the old red its a crisp ice blue, look nice and supposably better than the red type. Inside is a jumper to which you can turn on and off the blue light to suit. They look nice and are compact Easley fitted and altered to suit. Glad i made the purchase as will you be!

Having issues with intermittent false alarms so replaced all the sensors in the house and bought these Work fine and direct replacement so that's good What's less good was no documentation (fortunately it was not too hard to work out as I had fitted the alarm originally) The other issue is that LED is very bright with no way to either dim or disable it. This was pointed out but other reviewers but I was surprised just how bright the LED is

The Blue light is bright and stays on so I moved the jumper on the PCB to turn it off which suits me , besides that all is good and seems to work fine

Does what it says on the tin. Just remember its angle is fixed, some units are changeable.
