Great box for the money.. And yes you can download 3rd party apps.. I player+channel 4

Great android box the only thing is you can't get i player or channel 4 apps through the google store however i believe they can be sideloaded onto box.not tried gaming on it but it streams well i did have the very slightest jittery pictures on 1 of my apps i sideloaded but i reduced the quality to 4k 30fps and that was resolved.the box is smooth and responsive on the menus much better than 4k max sticks i had which are a nightmare.

This is a great little box, well worth the money but with one small snag, cannot get YouTube to work, start the app up & it just hangs with the spinning circle, have deleted app & reinstalled from Playstore but still the same, anyone in same boat?

Sometimes you get sick of companies ignoring feedback , and bloating it's devices out with adverts. I decided that it's time to move away from that ecosystem, and try something different, so far I am pretty impressed. Easy and quick to set up, (via your Google account), and customisable with the apps you want. It's nippy to navigate, compared with what I'm used to, content load in is quick.My only frustration at the moment, is the lack of play/pause, Rew and FFD buttons on the remote , because Apps like the F1TV app , content can't be paused as pressing the OK button brings up the different angles/feed option, and using the Left, right ,up ,down neglects to select the play icon, so can't be paused by pressing the OK, like in some other apps.I have ordered another one, (from a different source), and will probably switch to these until time comes to upgrade my TVs.

Absolutely unbelievable value for this fantastic wee box would 100% recommend this over a fire stick

Love this little box. So much better than a firestick. Just create a google account scan the code, add apps, job done.

This is a brilliant TV box and contrary to the description, it DOES have an ethernet input. It works great and runs tennistv, Plex, Prime, Netflix etc without missing a beat. I've tried over 5 TV boxes before and this is by far the best.

Had to return. Really terrible. Don't understand the hundreds of good reviews. Kept crashing and freezing. Menus stuttered. Playback of local movie files was choppy: both sound and picture. Not recommended.
