Texture is lightweight and fine, almost like sand, which my cats seem to prefer—it’s gentle on their paws and doesn’t track much. I recently switched from traditional litter to Pretty Litter for my two cats, and I’m genuinely impressed. It controls odors really well and makes cleanup so much easier. The clumping formula almost dry-freezes waste, which makes scooping quick and mess-free. One of the best features is the color-changing crystals that help monitor my cats’ health—it gives me peace of mind knowing I have that extra layer of awareness. Both of my cats adjusted to it right away, and overall, it’s been a much cleaner, more convenient experience. Works well!!

What a miracle. You only have to remove poop.When you mix it up after removing poop the urineIs gone and no odor. Lasts a month. When changing over to crystals I had to use regular litter. My cat needed help getting use to it .Even using it that way u could see the colors on crystals n mixing it same result. As aCat owner my entire life these is the best litter n it also checks their health. Win win!!!

This stuff is hands down the best kitty litter out there. My friend, who has 2 cats of her own, recommended it so when I got my kitten I tried it. I loved it at first, it smells good, theres no pee or poop smell.....With it being on the more expensive side, I downgraded to the Arm n Hammer litter and I will never do that again! My entire little space smelled like a cat toilet and it clumped up like cement when it was wet. Not like pretty litter, pretty litter is like sand even when it's wet from cat pee. I love that it gives an insight to my cats health so I know when he's been drinking enough water or not. If you're not sure, just give it a try. It doesn't disappoint.

I have officially made the switch and it’s finally working for me and my boy cat. It works well in my litter robot 4, which is a game changer and you don’t have to think about the litter and/or litter box! It’s much better now that the crystals are more micro and are softer on your cat’s paws. Don’t find it to be that incredible for eliminating tracking, but all you need is a good litter mat. The dust seems to be lower than other crystal and clay litters I have used. Will be continuing with this.

A couple of weeks after we started using Pretty Litter, our cat actually did develop a urinary tract infection and the litter changed color, just like it’s supposed to. That helped confirm our suspicions before we got to the vet, and they verified it. So it definitely works for detecting health issues, which is a huge plus.That said, I do feel weird leaving the litter in the box for long stretches after it’s been urinated in. Even though it doesn’t clump, I found that it starts to smell if I don’t scoop something out. My solution has been to mix Pretty Litter half-and-half with regular clumping litter. It’s not perfect, but the combo actually clumps decently and completely takes care of odor. I’ve been surprised how well that’s worked.Our cat adjusted to it just fine—he’s pretty laid-back. Overall, I like it and will keep using it, just with the mixed-litter approach.

I had clay litter in one box, blue litter Amazon sells in a box and pretty litter in the third box. I added a forth box when we had kittens. They voted and wanted to use the pretty litter box. That is 4 adult cats and three kittens. So do I want them to use the litter box, then it better have pretty litter.

I will NEVER buy or recommend this litter to anyone. It DOES NOT absorb smells at all. And because it is non-clumping, the urine just sits on top. Even if I try to bury it underneath, it doesn't work. You have to completely empty it everytime your cat pees so that your house doesn't smell like a litter box. The cats also can't bury their potty themselves BECAUSE of the non-clumping. It just slides off and the odor is worse. Just buy regular clumping litter, especially if you have more than one cat. Possibly, you can get the smell down with baking soda, but you would run the risk of the cat not liking that and going outside of the box. I have 3 boxes that I used this in, and my house smelled HORRIBLE. I ended up buying Special Kitty brand, and never looked back
