Design is correct, materials lacking.
The product is exactly as it says, a door check. It works as advertised and fits into my 1994 Jeep Cherokee Country as they said it would. The quality of metals is lacking, and during install one of the studs snapped off when tightening.

Very short service life
lasted 4 months before it failed on the driver’s side. Poor quality. Is there a warranty?

Not much better than a broken 30 year old part
Product looks great, but sadly is as loud and clunky as the original part from 1995 that is loud, and the arm hole was really hard to line up with the a-pillar bracket. Better than nothing, but I'm going to try a different brand...

lasted a week
these both failed in about a week and no longer hold the door open. With having to take the interior panel off to install these things spend the extra money on a higher quality pair.
