The Ultimate Resin Rescuer – No More Sticky Messes!
If you’re deep into resin printing like I am, this Sovol 3D Stainless Steel Funnel is a total game-changer! No more trying to balance a wobbly paper funnel or praying I don’t spill resin everywhere. This stainless steel funnel is sturdy, easy to clean, and perfect for filtering out those sneaky chunks of cured resin that somehow always end up in the vat.It fits perfectly on most resin bottles, and the mesh filter does a great job catching even the tiniest bits of debris. Plus, being stainless steel means I can just pop it out, rinse it off, and it’s good to go for the next round. No more messy disasters or wasted resin. If you’re serious about your resin prints and want to avoid sticky catastrophes, this is an essential tool. My only regret is not getting it sooner!

Decent Funnel with generous spout.
I brought this funnel to use with my 3D printer. My original plan was to use it to filter IPA but I found the very fine sludge clogged the filter. Instead I leave the IPA to stand overnight and decant the next day into another bottle. I still plan to use the filter for resin but so far I have not needed to do it.When used without filter the generous spout makes it quick and easy to poor IPA into a bottle. The large exit hole means the IPA flows out quickly without overtopping the top of the funnel.

Decent filter and a good metal funnel
When I purchased a Photon 4K I realised that there were going to be times when I would need to pour the resin back in the bottle. Not wanting debris to get into the main bottle having a decent filter seemed like a good idea. Now, the bad first to get it out of the way. The filters are well made but have a sharp edge. The problem here is that you need to reach over this edge to pinch the two sprung legs together to get them into the nozzle of the funnel. So there is a slight hazard of cutting your finger here. I say slight, because once you realise that it is a sharp edge, extra caution is almost an automatic reaction. But, if you have small fingers, this might be an issue. The small metal rod that protrudes from the top isn't always easy to grasp to remove the filter for cleaning. There is a handle on the side of the funnel. This cannot be trusted. The handle on mine came off after three uses. The handle is welded to the funnel by two points on each pad. This should have been a minimum of four points in a diamond shape to make it more secure. All I heard was two fairly quiet "tings" and the handle popped off. Fortunately the funnel was empty and I was removing a filter plate at the time or I might have been a bit more annoyed. Do not trust the handleOkay, the good. This is a very nice filter system that works extremely well. For most purposes you can use the single plate filter to strain resin as it will stop all but the smallest particles, and save the mesh filter for cleaning isopropyl where it will stop pretty much everything. The funnel is a good metal that is fairly strong and doesn't warp or twist when using or cleaning it. It also doesn't have any particularly sharp edges, nor is it very heavy so you may need to take that into account when using it.This product works well. Both filters are well made with a good finish and are easy to clean. Aside from the handle the funnel is also well made, clean and easy to maintain. It does precisely what it says on the tin and does it well. It is unfortunate that the poor weld on the handle lost this product a star in my rating as aside from that I'm quite happy with this product. It is still worth the money I paid as I will still get a lot of use out of this product, I see no reason to return it for a handle that is essentially a convenience not a necessity. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase; more for the filter options than anything else and, when I need to, I will be happy to buy another one.

Perfect for resin 3D printing
Previous funnel was way too small, so emptying the tank took ages - pour, wait, pour some more, etc. With this, I can dump the entire tank into the funnel (with larger hole filter installed), and drain it back into the bottle while I wash out the tank. Saves me so much time.

What every 3D printer should have
After getting a new 3D printer, I had a pain in setting it up, I kept getting a lot of failures. Needless to say, I had to keep draining the resin tank to clear the resin that had failed, hence I needed to get a filter. This comes with two screens, a fine one and a very fine. I found the very fine to be very slow in filtering the resin, so I just used the other one, which did catch parts of the cured resinI would therefore recommend this product
