This is a great replacement that was very easy to replace with the correct screw driver bit and tools. Nevertheless, the listing says "2 pack" but only one item arrived. I don't think this is a 2 pack price, so that needs to be removed. :)

After installation unable to tell it is not the OEM lid from the initial purchase. Way cheaper than a new laptop! Be extremely careful when removing your OEM screen. It is very, very, very well attached to the lid. I have replaced screens on other branded laptops before without issues. Ended up breaking and having to replace the screen while performing this repair.

The Lenovo hinge design is awful. Even if you're really careful the thread inserts will rip right out of the plastic. I tried multiple times to do a DIY fix with epoxy and other materials and it just kept failing. Do yourself a favor and just buy a new back cover. Actually, buy two because you're going to replace this one eventually as well.

The hinge on my laptop broke pulled out of the cover, so I ordered this replacement cover w/hinges Replacement wasn't too difficult for me w/guidance from a YouTube video. It took a few hours and required a very small torx bit ($8 for a small screwdriver set). If you are going to replace the cover yourself, be sure to find an instructional video. I would have probably ruined my lcd screen had I not followed instructions on how to remove the double-sided adhesive holding the screen to the cover. Also, be sure to find a video on how to remove the camera. It's just attached with adhesive. I had to use a little spray adhesive to make it stick again. The new hinges were very stiff. I was afraid the mounting screws would soon pull out of the plastic cover again, so I lubricated the hinges with silicone lubricant and loosened the nuts a bit. The cover now opens and closes easily and stays where I position it. All in all, for the cost and a few hours of work, it was well worth it. I'm very satisfied.

Update: hinges broke off again after 10 months. Was originally 5 stars. Great quality. Looks and feels just like the original one. Maybe even a little better. Installed on an Ideapad 5-15ITL05

Great replacement for my son's broken laptop lid/hinge, easy to repair. This part is designed flimsily by Lenovo, but expect this to work well for a while.

Worked very well. For my IdeaPad 5, there was a small piece of plastic (about an inch in length) that you must remember to re-attach on top, near the hinge, during reassembly! I used “Thread-Locker” glue for ALL hinge screws.

After changing corpus, my monitor is very dark. I tried to update drivers, but it’s didn’t help me. Everything was done really professionally without any hurt’s. I think it’s problem with drivers. It’s may be incomparable Intel Iris Xe with new monitor inverters (two black&white cables with two cooper pieces ) Can you help me? Have you any solving of this problem?

Was unsure if it would be correct for my laptop model but fitted perfectly. Hinge came attached to the back and YouTube video showed exactly how to replace the screen case albeit would not say it is easy but is doable - the screen wasn’t damaged so just had to replace the case. No screws came with it but not a problem as used the old screws. Good value for money and good quality. Note you might need self adhesive tape or similar for the screen frame when putting back together.

No difference between this and the original at all.
