Q: Does anyone have a link to the instructions? I bought this a few months ago and just got around to building it with my kids.

When I purchased it, the seller sent me a link. I don't still have it. I would reach out to the seller to ask for the link to the instructions.

Q: Will the box have different modes when you press the lever?

The box has only one speed/mode. When you flip the switch the actuator turns on and the arm comes out and turns the switch back off and then retracts. This is always at the same speed, unlike some kits that have a delay or differing speeds. It's still pretty entertaining.

Q: What kind of glue is required for this?

Ditto to the wood glue. I think it was Elmer's. Also ditto to fitting the pieces together before applying glue.

Q: Is the wood stained or can you do the finish work yourself?

The wood is unstained, you finish it yourself.
