Radio interference
I bought these because I installed LED headlights on my Suzuki Samurai I did not know at the time that the LED lights would cause interference with the radio. I installed these to try to shield the radio from the interference, it didn’t work for me. I will eventually buy LED headlights that are shields from interference.

Big improvement in TV interference
I was having a lot of interference on my TV with an indoor antenna in an apartment. This kit allowed me to try applying ferrite to the cables to see if it improved. Placing one of these on the power cables to the amplifier made a dramatic impact immediately. Then I experimented with other cables around the TV to see if it made a difference, sometimes looping the cable through the ferrite. All but two channels are interference free now. Great improvement! I improved the reception on 2 TVs for about $8 with one kit.

Ferrite buzz
I got these to try to help with the flickering my tankless heater (3x 40a breakers) causes to my led lighting. I didn't know about ferrite buzz but now I do. Any improvement was overshadowed but the sound of a billion angry bees coming from my water closet. So they work fine, just not for this.

Helps over the air antenna signal
I've been trying to get a better signal on a few of the channels I get with my TV antenna. Any signal improvement can help the quality, pixelating and the number of stations received. So I saw how chokes can remove certain kinds of interfering signals, and tried these. In the morning, I ran a channel scan, and got 59 stations. I put a ferrite choke on the coax, right before the amplifier (did not want to amplify interference), and a second scan a minute later gave me 65 channels. I've found a cable splitter, and a lightning arrestor/5g filter both dropped 90% of my channels. I can't use them. Only the strongest signals made it through. I saw the antenna expert show how the longer your coax is, the bigger the signal drop. And even just coiling excess coax will also result in a signal drop. I know now, that even a small drop in signal can be the difference between getting 60 stations and 12. Next step is RG6 quad coax, and it being just long enough to reach. I have a 70 mile omni directional antenna, and an 80 mile directional with vhf to reach a specific far away station. Very happy cutting the cord, and happy with these chokes. By the way, with a good antenna signal, the picture is much better than a cable signal. Cable compresses their signal. and when you get it, its only a fraction of what the signal was originally.

Good Quality, But Not Sure of Effectiveness
The Ferrite Ring Core Noise Suppressor Cable Clips are well made and easy to install. I received the full 20-pack, which is great for multiple cables. However, I’m not completely sure they made a noticeable difference in reducing noise or interference in my setup. They seem sturdy and do what they’re supposed to, so I’m happy with the purchase overall. Just wish I could confirm a stronger impact on signal quality.

Ferrite cores work great for audio cables.
I recently installed 2 of these on a cable coming from my laptop into a DI box going to our church sound system. I was using the laptop to show videos for VBS. I had a nasty 60 Hz hum in the cable. These ferrite coils reduced the hum by 98%. I have used these before to quiten down noises in audio cables. They worked for my purpose but some noises can come from noise in equipment instead of cables.
