Worked right out of the box
Worked very well with the UI DreamWall. Installation was very simple.

Best bang for the buck on Unifi
I bought 3 of these to work with a Ubiquiti UDM Pro Max, a Ubiquiti aggregation switch and my existing Cat6/Cat6a wiring in my house. Everything worked great, and recognized at full 10Gbps speeds with no issues. I would say these are the ones to get if you're going to be using SFP+ to 10GbE transceivers and Unifi gear (and likely pretty much any other SFP+ device).

Works with Aruba S2500 48P out of the box!
Tried 2 other SFP transceivers from Amazon that were supposed to work with the Aruba S2500 with negative results. This is the only transceiver I've found that actually works.Plugged it in, connected the Cat6 cable, and the Rx/Tx lights lit up after about 10 seconds.Works great and the Aruba web UI shows a 10G connection! Ordering more for my S2500.

Nice Module
So I was skeptical about these as there was conflicting things saying that these only work with certain router manufacturers. Well I have used it on atleast 5 different router manufacturers and it worked great. They work with netgear and tp link just to name a couple of the bigger known manufacturers. Installation is simple and takes just a minute or two. Just make sure you have the module seated correctly in your device and it will just work as intended.

Good product at a reasonable price, but operates hot-to-the-touch.
Good product at a reasonable price, but operates hot-to-the-touch. This is the first time I've used an SFP+ device within my network, so I have only this experience to review. This SFP+ Transceiver to copper RJ45 cable, worked immediately and attached automatically to my PC's 5Gbps network adapter, at 5Gbps. This has been working without issue for about 2 weeks. My only observation is that the Transceiver is hot to the touch. That said, the MokerLink switch in which it is inserted, is very COOL to the touch. I hope the heat does not become an issue over time.

Great service
First the specifics:I have this transceiver in the WAN port of my UDM PRO (set to Auto Negotiate) and connected to a 2.5Gb modem. The UDM side is seeing this as a 10Gb connection and the transceiver is correctly transforming the connection to 2.5Gb for the modem.Qualities:As with most if not all SFP+ to RJ45 transceivers, this unit gets hot. More importantly, it comes with a 3 year warranty which shows the manufacturer's trust in the product. Another important consideration is power draw as there is a wide disparity between brands. ipolex seems to be in the middle here although I didn't test this for myself.Experience:I can see from a speed test that I am getting nearly the entire 1.2Gb bandwidth promised by my ISP. Due to my configuration, I did not test at faster speeds. I got a little over a year with no problems and then started to have daily connectivity issues. After a few months of that, the transceiver died. It was difficult to figure out how to get warranty service since the manufacturer, like most, requires that I go through the retailer (Amazon) and Amazon doesn't make it easy to find the link. However, once I got to the correct screen and was now dealing directly with ipolex, the process went quickly and they replaced the faulty transceiver. Start to finish, I had the replacement in my hands in 4 days.Quality:One failure is not an indication of quality as I have had failures with every brand. I use that much equipment. Best I can say here is, let's see how long the replacement lasts.

Working well
Upgraded my home network to 10GB and Wifi 7, and my switch only had 2.5 GB on its ports, with two 10 GB ethernet, and two empty SFP slots. So I got a couple of these for the those SFP slots, and they are working fine. My Wifi7 is now linked through one of them, and my Synology on the other. Speeds for file copies are outstanding.

Really Good Download Speeds but Very Poor Upload Speeds
I purchased this item to use in my UniFi Dream Machine Pro. I inserted the ipoplex SFP+ into the WAN SFP+ slot in the UniFi Dream Machine Pro. The white link light illuminated and the UDM Pro allowed all my devices to connect to the internet. Everything seemed to work until I performed several speed test using different speed test sites. My Verizon Fios 1Gbps connection performed well when downloading but the upload speeds averaged between 5-10Mbps. I tried to manually set the speed on the SFP+ port to 1Gbps but that didn’t resolve the issue. I shutdown then turned on the UDM pro while the SFP+ was still connected but that didn’t resolve the poor upload speeds. I changed the WAN SFP+ port to autonegotiation then I shutdown the UDM Pro, turned on the UDM Pro, conducted speed test and the upload speeds were still averaging 5-12Mbps. I switched back to the 1Gbps WAN port, conducted speed test and my upload speeds were excellent (900Mbps - 922Mbps). I decided to purchase a SFP+ from Ubiquiti to see if the upload speeds on SFP+ WAN port on the UDM Pro will perform as expected. I initiated the return process for the Ipoplex but for now I’ll hold onto the Ipoplex in case the actual issue is the SFP+ WAN port on the UDM Pro. I’ll try the Ubiquiti SFP+ when it arrives. If the upload speed doesn’t improve I’ll know something is wrong with the SFP+ WAN port and not the Ipoplex or Ubiquiti SFP+ transceivers. Until then I have to give this product 1 star but I may have to upgrade it if the SFP+ WAN port is the culprit. The Ubiquiti SFP+ arrived and its working well. My FiOS 1Gb ISP connection download and upload speeds are as expected. Average download speed is 850Mbps and average upload speed is 900Mbps. The Ipoplex SFP+ have been returned. I will only use Ubiquiti SFP+ in my UDM Pro and US-16-XG.
