A very high quality rock pick. The construction is solid, reliable and dependable. I use this pick when I am prospecting for gold in California rivers and mines. Very useful combined with a gold finding metal detector when breaking and scraping gold bearing bed rock.

I have always expected and received the highest quality from ESTWING products. I am a 60 year old female and this is not heavy for me and does the job! I would think if one needs to use two hands for any reason, there is room enough for that but this is a great size for one hand. Grip is fantastic. It might be dumb or not a consideration but this product is a good looking tool. I like tools that have the combination of appearance and ability.

I'm tired of buying cheap garden tools. This is almost perfect for gardening. Attention ESTWING: make one with tines and it would be perfect.

Estwing quality is hard to beat. Grip and size is perfect for splitting rocks with fossil layers and pointed end great for digging or prying. Balance is good. You pay for quality what can I say. Appearance is typical of a fantastically made lapidary hand tool.

I use this for semi precious gemstone mining specifically chalcedony. There is a lot of digging and prying and scratching involved this pick is ideal for that. incredibly sturdy and exactly the right size to also use in small tunnels. Considering the gemstones this pick has helped me dig out and the quality of the tool I think the price is good. Since i can work with it all day without tiring i consider it to be very light and the grip fits my hand very well.

This is a very high quality pick- it does not have a hammer for breaking open rocks, but I just brought a standard hammer with me. Not cheap by any means, but feels great in your hand and will last a lifetime.

My husband bought me this Rock Pick for when we go rock hounding. I love it. It is perfectly balanced and light weight.

Pour le moment, juste déballé, j'espère qu'il sera plus résistant que l'estwing paleo qui s'est cassé au bout de trois ans. Produit lancé par dessus le mur, heureusement que c'est de l'acier. Je ne félicite pas le livreur. D'ailleurs on ne m'a pas demandé mon avis comme d'habitude. Déçu.

Wertige Hacke für schweren steinigen Boden mit der Zusatzfunktion des Magnet-Tests aufgrund der angebrachten drei Magnete an Kopf der Hacke. Der Preis ist der Firma Eastwing geschuldet. Eine ähnliche Hacke gibt es auch von Fiskas ca. 40% günstiger, aber ohne Magnetfunktion. Ich würde die Hacke trotzdem wieder von Eastwing kaufen, es sei denn diese wäre wieder für Monate nicht verfügbar. Dann ist die Fiskals- Hacke eine echte Alternative für Geologen.

I am not surprised at all that Estwing makes a good rock pick. I have used it now on at least 5 separate outings where I went mineral collecting (including a one week long trip exploring old silver mines). It makes short works of packed dirt and old mines dump rock pile. I can already tell that this is a durable and versatile tool that will last me a very long time. My only disappointment is that the eagle logo on the tool is a sticker and not an engraving. Such a cool logo but the second you put the tool to good use the sticker wears off.
