The ticks are so bad this year (2025). My son has had one every single day this week and he hasn't even went outside once yet. I had one and tried to remove it with no tool, just tweezers and the head broke off inside. When I used this tool, it was so simple and easy, and most importantly according to my son, painless. You just hook the tick in by sliding it through the slit. Then slowly or quickly, twist. It just lets go and pops right out! This should be in every first aid kit!

Simple but very efficient tool.
Simple but very efficient tool. I used it on my dog few times. It's easier, quicker, safer, as they come out whole, way to remove ticks. Just slide under the thick, all the way into the groove and lift the bug up. Comes out the first time, without worry of squeezing it. Much better than tweezers.Highly recommend.

Only tool you will need!
This works very well!It is not hard to use and go slow using the correct size.I removed a medium size tick from my Frenchies head above her ear.The slow turning and pull out showed white thread like thin strings about an inch long!Yuck!!!!!!Good to know it all came out in one piece!Today a small one on my upper arm!!Worked perfectly!!!We are in our RV in the woods of Calif and do not hesitate to recommend to buy!Thumbs up 100%!!!Note:Be SURE to flush down the toilet- using toilet paper to contain it- as recommended by a horse owner!

Work well. The only thing I would change is adding a hole on the top so it can be attached to a key ring.

Tick removal is so easy now!
The media could not be loaded. I have been struggling to get ticks off of my dog with tweezers for the past five years! These tool work so well. They come in three different sizes depending on the size of the tick but I’m so happy I found them. I did have to get used to them because they’re not like tweezers where you grab, squeeze and pull. You slide this over the side of the tick, hook the tick in there and then firmly but gently pull it out. It’s kinda like using the back of the hammer to remove a nail. This tool is genius made tick removal so much easier. The only con I would say is that sometimes it does pull out some of the dogs fur.

Great tool
Very helpful tool. Used it for a tick embedded and a looser one. Don't know why I didn't think to buy this sooner.
