Teavivre Ripened Cube Tuocha Pu-erh Mini Brick Tea (3.5oz / 100g, Year 2006, Fermented)

High quality puerh that brews strong and delicious. The tuo cha blocks are very convenient and come wrapped well in individual paper and then in a double, heavy/high quality foil ziploc pouch so that are fresh and well respected! I’ve been drinking this brand for a while; every day, and am a puerh lover if not aficionado!

It tastes pretty earthy, very different from black teas.

For the price, this is a very good 17 year-old tea. After a few steeps, the aged flavor for mustiness and aged really comes out. Reccomended!

This tea is challenging. I’m all for things that require an “acquired taste”, but man, this stuff is rank. It’s like seaweed garbage… yuck

I have not been a Pu-ehr tea drinker before because of a fishy after taste. But this tea changed my mind. I do enjoy the earthy mellow flavor and yes it is very smooth finish. No after taste. Will keep drinking this tea. I have been a black a tea drinker for over 20 years, this Pu-ehr tea is a great place to start with a Yunnan tea brick/or tiny block of pressed , fermented tea leaves.
