Resin Bubble Remover, Remove Bubbles Within 5 Min, Vacuum Degassing Chamber

This thing is only $40 which is basically the equivalent of 1/3 or half of what you would need to pay for similar items. So it’s a great value. It does exactly what it says. It’s going to do and the amount of time that is required now three minutes is not enough time you need to plan for closer to 10, but that’s how almost every vacuum pump works when getting rid of bubbles in resin or silicone. It’s a one button press and I do wish that it had a digital display, but it is extremely easy to use. You can fit two or 3 cups of resin inside and it’s big enough for odd sized objects to fit in easily. I read a ton of reviews in preparation for the purchase and I absolutely do not regret it. That being said it’s only $40 and you do get what you pay for, one button on and off, no display, only one indicator for the vacuum and they were micro bubbles left at the top after my 10 minute run. However, I was able to easily eliminate them as opposed to them staying in my pore and ruining my projects. If you want something that’s going to work every single time without a problem then spend $140 to get the best one on the platform, and at that point you might as well invest in a vacuum pump and chamber. I love this thing and no one paid me for my review and I paid full price.

Makes more bubbles! I've ruined multiple batches of resin hoping for this thing to work, waited 10-15 minutes with it in the chamber only to be met with MORE BUBBLES than I started with. Save your money, don't buy this bubble remover!

I needed to degas my projects but as a casual resiner I didn't want to invest in a full pressure pot or vacuum chamber, so this unit looked interesting. After some experiments, I eventually got it to do what I needed, and it does an amazing job, I'm very pleased. Here's what I learned... 1) Warm the resin for best results. I use very slow cure (48 hour) resin, so I use a heat gun at a distance while mixing to keep the resin to an an almost water-like viscosity. With a slow set resin there's no need to worry about thermic reaction, but with a faster-setting resin probably better to warm the A and B before mixing so it doesn't flash. Without heating the resin, I was still getting quite a few bubbles due to the viscosity. 2) 10 minutes is the sweet spot. The instructions say 5 mins, but I still had quite a few bubbles left at that point. Ten minutes did the trick - and longer than that didn't seem to make much difference. 3) Protect the bottom of the bowl with some kind of tray. Sometimes the degassing process creates bubbles that spill out of the container. I use a large Tupperware-type lid and/or paper towel for easy cleanup. 4) Stick with projects a half-gallon or smaller. The largest project I've done with this so far is about 3/4 gallon, and that was definitely pushing the boundaries. Larger jobs will require more robust degassing equipment. Happy resining!

Works fairly well but need to make sure to only use with smaller batches otherwise resin will start to cure before bubbles are dissipated

It doesn’t get as many bubbles out as I want it to. It’s easy to use, durable, and a decent size. I wish I could give it more stars, but it didn’t do the job very well.

Love this so much it worked wonders for me and removed all the stubborn bubbles. It came out crystal clear and I couldn't be any more pleased with this purchase!! Great product at a great price!! Highly recommend it to someone looking to remove pesty bubbles for a low price and small amount of time as well!!

Directions indicate 3-5 minutes to remove air bubbles. What it doesn't tell you is that it takes significantly longer and the air bubbles that do reach the top become a frothy bubble mess that sits along the edge all the way around so when you pour it into a mold, that frothy mess goes with it but is now a frothy bubbly gel blob that centers & the heat gun or torch cannot penetrate to remove the remaining air bubbles... which is a lot. The air bubbles that reach the top begin to gel & however much of the resin gels at the top is no longer viable. The 1st cup I placed inside the chamber looked like it was being squeezed at the bottom so I turned it off & removed it. The resin was solidified in the cup within 1 minute of being removed from the chamber. I ended up having to pull & scrape the plastic cup off the hardened resin. The resin was clear for the most part but it took 10 minutes & that was just long enough for the resin to set with the frothy bubbles & stuck to the cup. The photos show the frothy mess that was at the top & the bottom is frosty looking where the resin rounded & adhered to the cup. I wanted to resin cast several praying mantis & a few wolf & black widow spiders but can't seem to find a good method for resin that actually works. Back to the drawing board.

Si se tarda como 8 a 10 min, lo cual te resta tiempo de trabajo con la resina, pero el resultado y la caridad con la que queda la resina es hermosa!

Haven't been able to use it yet, need to get an adaptor for the plug. Not sure if I'll need a transformer too. OK, bought the adaptor. Power supply is fine. No vacuum at all. Followed the simple instructions, still no vacuum, the vacuum light doesn’t even illuminate. Crap item, will be returning it.

I like this little machine. I run my resin 2x 9 minutes. Than give it a quick torch blast and it’s good to go. I see some bad reviews but I do think the amount of bubbles depends on brand of resin used. So maybe run it a bit longer. It doesn’t have a fancy timer or anything but I use the timer on my phoneIf you want to save some money on a machine, this one is a bit cheaper than others but works just as good
