Convenient way to cook with soup that uses tamarind.
Convenient to use than juicing tamarind. The container needs to be redesigned as the paste needs to be spooned out, instead of pouring it from the container. Flavor, and sourness is just like the real tamarind. A friend doesn't like the black color it turns the soup, but that doesn't matter to me.

No fuss Tamarind
Have been using this for last few years and no complaints. Easy to use , just a little bit is good enough for my cooking. Being a concentrate,taste and flavour is not affected at all. I have tried other brands but they put salt in it and taste is very off . Tamicon is my favourite, i use it to make chutneys , in sambhar and many other things . Hope my review helps . :)

A convenient alternative to raw tamarind
If you have ever followed a recipe for making tamarind sauce from tamarind by soaking it in hot water and squeezing the pulp from the stone you will appreciated the ease, speed and refinement of using Tamicon Tamarind Concentrate. It will keep in the fridge for a year or more and the 400 grams (14 oz) is ample.

This is perhaps the only Tamarind paste that contains only Tamarind pulp, no salt, sugar or preservatives. Packaging was good and I got a small pouch of readymade Pani puri paste. Adequate shelf life. Overall a good quality product and decently priced.
