Flame King T-Racks® 5LB Propane Tank Mounting Bracket Strap for RVs, Trailers, Campervans, Jeeps, and Overland Vehicles

Mounted this to my ATV trailer which took a little bit of drilling as I had a unique application. But it held up on the trip great and the bottle never moved. I threw an extra strap on it for security which I think would be necessary. The strap seemed to stretch out and I am at max tightness. But good investment.

This mounted great on the outside of my teardrop trailer. This saved me having to load and unload the tank from my vehicle everytime I needed to use it. I should have bought this a long time ago. I did add a sheet of rubber behind it before mounting to provide vibration and moisture proofing. Very well buitl and holds the tank firmly. Can be adjusted if needed. It has a pin that maintains the band closed. Only improvement could be to make it lockable. Solid install!

Way cheaper than other brands and still great quality. The band is the weak point but that is an easy fix.

I originally mounted this to my truck and really liked the way it was set up. I did have a concern of the locking mechanism and the lack of a locking pin while I was driving but decided to ignore it. My propane tank fell off the mount due to the latch failing and the company has yet to email me back, and I don’t think they ever will. Ignik was cool enough to offer to send me a replacement propane tank even though it was my fault. Only buy this mount if you want to lose your tank

This mount for my 5lb propane tank fit perfectly. And it only mounts a 5lb, that I can see for its size. But drawback. I had to modify the mounting into my each. Had to drill out a new set of holes for it to work. But it worked great. Highly recommend this product. One thing though. Although I have orders from Amazon before, somehow they could not deliver this one on time. Had to wait another week before it was actually delivered.

Doable but the retaining strap seems too flimsy for me to feel safe the tank won't come off the vehicle, while driving down the road. Is also way too thin to make it secure from easy theft. I plan on modifying it with a lockable safety chain. The black back plate is acceptable.

Simple to install and use. Holds the propane tank securely so that you don't have to worry about it moving around. Decent price for the item.

was able to get some T Nuts and install using just top 2 holes in my Bed Rail. put a 1x4 along the bottom mount holes to "support" so it could rest against the bed side. Not sure why others were struggling with the strap, mine works perfectly fine!

I've had this mounted on the back of my van. The holder doesn't have to secure all the weight because it is mounted in a way that a platform below carries some of the weight of the propane tank and reduces how much bouncing it will experience. Still though, It has held up on a couple road trips and nothing has broken or come loose.

Looks ok. Will see if I trust that little latch to hold on the road lol. 2 rubbers missing when arrived.
