This bookcase does what is required of it. This was a replacement for the first one ordered, which had cracks and broken corners. The replacement came quickly and was a little tricky to put together and needed two people. The fit of the joins/joints is not that great, which is why I marked this down by one star. There is nothing pretty about this bookcase but it does the job.

I just want to say a BIG thank you to the customer care officer that replaced the broken parts to our book shelf. They did not dispute my claim, and they responded promptly. I am so pleased with this bookshelf; it looks amazing. We've been using it for roughly 2 months, and we've had no issues. The books shelf is able to hold heavy thick thesaurus type books, and it is sturdy. We managed to tuck it neatly in our living room corner. It fits perfectly. Thank you again. Fairly easy to assemble, but the panels were of really poor quality, with chips missing, and the white paint bubbling and peeling in some places. Also, it's not very stable as the sides are made up of 1 larger and 1 smaller panel, making the whole structure wobble. I had to reinforce our unit with duct tape, and extra pieces of wood.
