Not much else to add that hasn't already been said. Also would recommend the film by Spike Lee

An inspirational read...saddening to know how his end was brought about. A true AFRICAN/AFRO-American hero to many. He was feared by many for his strength and preaching of black political empowerment and shunted from mainstream schools while I was growing up in the 80's, 90's and 2000's. I-as a white man-was never taught about him, only MLK Jr. But his voice lends another side to the struggle against White Supremacy in America-another lens through which to view the historic fight for Human Rights in America and how he preached about Black Empowerment. A MUST READ for ALL AMERICANS.
