Such a great item for toddler

I had my doubts about trying this chair booster but it's kind of ingenious, really. You basically attach it to the bottom of the chair and becomes a stand for the chair to sit on. I fooled around with it a little bit and found that the easiest way to attach was to turn over the chair and expand.stretch the arms of the stand. I was pretty sure that it wouldn't fit my pretty large oak windsor chairs, but it did. I sat on it myself and it felt quite sturdy. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because the only thing keeping the stand in place on the chair legs is some kind of spring or elastic action, not sure which, as well as the weight of the chair and whoever is sitting in it. And because it was so easy for me to stretch the arms of the base to fit the chair, and because one of the leg stands slipped while I was making it fit, I worry that one of them will slip out of place when a child or other person is sitting in it. Like if the chair is moved to quickly or hit by someone's foot trying to get by. I feel like there should be some way to secure the chair leg, if only to give the user peace of mine, especially if a child will be using. So even though it works I'm not entirely sure I will trust it. Maybe more "testing" is in order for me to do that. But maybe in future designs of this product, they can find a way to solve this slippage. Like adding some kind of band where the leg fits into the stand, or adding some kind of nonslip material there to hold it more steady. Like I said, it's kind of an ingenious little contraption and definitely works, but maybe could use just a little more finessing.

This chair helper is really great for toddlers. My toddler was having trouble reaching the table and his booster seat wasn’t helping much. My husband added this to the bottom of our kitchen chair and now he can actually sit at the table with us. There isn’t much room between the chair and the kitchen table so we won’t be able to use it for too long but hopefully by the time he grows he won’t need the boost up from the chair helper. We can definitely use this with our second baby also when he’s a toddler. My husband had a hard time getting this on the chair by himself. When he would pull one side to get it fitted it would snap back and he would have to start over and pull it to fit again. After a few times he managed to get it fitted. There is not way to secure it. It just ‘fits’ onto the chair. I would guess chairs with thicker legs this might not work with but it works with chairs with thinner legs. I would recommend this for families with toddlers who can’t reach the table just yet

This makes my toddler feel like a big kid and doesn't restrain her in a baby booster seat. She can eat at the table with us so much more easily. Great buy!

I can lift the chair and it goes along for the ride.Great idea and product.Update:We have been using this in our home for several days now, it is so much superior to a traditional booster seat. It's so great, in fact, that although this one was received from Amazon Vine for me to review, I decided to buy an extra one. Now both our kids will sit high and mighty at the table!

Unique idea for a booster seat, it raises the seat itself instead of replaces it with something small that can fall. It's well made and sturdy also.

I really love this booster for a chair! I like that it's very easy to install under the chair and I can take it off easily so an adult can use the chair if needed
