Climbing on the burly shoulders of the No Limit record label, New Orleans's Cash Money Records leads the Dirty South's second assault on the ears of the rest of the country. But it wasn't until Juvenile's conversational "Ha," a furiously paced monologue dwelling on the details of everyday life, broke that the label was able to establish itself with a single that would snap northern necks. 400 Degreez , the album from which "Ha" is drawn, marks a high point in the South's musical output. Producer Manny Fresh--who's responsible for all the Cash Money production--rarely strays far from the region's bass roots, blending it with strings, keys, and other layers to make it more palatable to the masses. And it's Juvenile, with his hurried slurs, who dances the shimmy best, from the anthemic "Run for It" to the New York-ready braggadocio of "Juvenile on Fire," on which Fresh shakes it up like maracas on Cinco de Mayo. --Jon Caramanica 400 Degreez is the third studio album by NOLA-native rapper Juvenile. The album was released on November 3, 1998 and remains Juvenile's best-selling album of his solo career. According to fans and critics alike, 400 Degreez didn't just impact the hip-hop scene; it reinvented it. Produced by the irrepressible Mannie Fresh, 400 Degreez offers a big ol' steaming pot of musical gumbo filled with influences from dancehall, second-line brass jazz, Southern R&B, and old school hip-hop seasoned with plenty of bouncy beats, just a touch of jazzy guitars and spacey keyboards. -- The Source Review: Another add to my collection - Perfect Review: A must own for any fan - This pressing of this album was done by VMP and is amazing quality!! A all time great album, but if you are reading this review post 2021 you already know that as itโs over 20 years old. What you might not know is that any VMP made records run around $47 brand new and they are worth the money. The album jackets are very sturdy, the sleeves are thick and the records themselves are heavy. You get what you pay for 10/10

The best Cash Money album of all time.
In my opinion this is the greatest Cash Money album ever. It is an absolute classic you can listen to from front to back. If you don't own this album do yourself a favor and buy it. This is when Cash Money actually had good artists, unlike now where it is only Lil Wayne and Drake keeping them alive.

This is the Juvenile that your familiy will approve
I have only listened to 400 degreez and Tha G-Code so far. Both albums are of the very first order. Juvenile must be considered a perennial contender for best rapper of all time.

I loved this CD when I was young, and it still is better than most hip hop today.

JuVIE!!!
He talked so far in advance on 400 degrees! He's the reason why Cash Money is Cash Money! Every track goes in Juvie made me a believer 15 years a go with this. I've bought this classic so many times it's pitiful! However I can't et enough of the way he was going after Baby from the beginning in his rhymes!

Another Classic For the Collection
Arrived in beautiful condition. Not going to open it yet. One of the best Cash Money releases from the 90's. 110$ was too much, but 63$ was worth it. When I saw 'Ha' on BET I was sold
