The Lanxitown Mini Katana Mini Sword With Stand Samurai Sword Metal Weapon Model Toy Katana A is a cool little sword but the sword I received is not a katana. It's more like a European style broadsword or straight sword. That being said the sword I received is well constructed and made of metal as is the scabbard. The sword is not at all sharp and I don't think could be made sharp. Both the sword and the scabbard have some nice detailing on them. The scabbard has a key ring attached to it but you can't carry the sword that way because the moment you tilt the scabbard the sword slides right out. There is a ring on the top of the sword so you could attach something to the sword that way. The display stand is plastic and did not want to fit and stay together at first. Once the stand is finally assembled it does hold the sword and scabbard nicely and it does look good. An interesting set for display on your desk or if you have an action figure doll of that size.

Cool desk toy, sword falls out easily: This mini sword is a great desk toy for the home office or at work. The sheath and sword both look pretty realistic and the keychain allows you to hang it up if you choose not to put it on its small little plastic stand that's included in the set. While the sword is very cool to look at and fun to play around with, it does not fit into the sheath snuggly, and can fall out rather easily. This is not a big deal to me since I just bought it as a cute little desk toy, but if you plan on putting this thing on a bag, your keys, or anything else that's moving around, I would recommend considering another accessory, as the sword will fall out quickly. Also, just to note, the sword is not sharp and is purely for show, so I wouldn't expect to use this to actually cut things. Overall, this is a very cool little toy and I would recommend.

I ordered this for my 11-year-old grandson. He told me this is not a mini katana but he likes it and displays it on his desk. You can't use this as a key chain because the sword falls out. It seems well-made and is not sharp or pointed. It is a cute addition to display.

Amazon's AI specifically directed me to this sword keychain when I was shopping for another one, saying that this one supposedly stays closed in the scabbard for use as a keychain. The product description also says the same. It doesn't even stay in the scabbard under its own weight, literally slides out as soon as it's tipped slightly downward. Don't waste your time, as 7$ won't be worth driving all the way to the UPS store to return with gas prices being more than the return cost
