PetThem Adjustable Cat Harness and Leash Set Escape Proof (Hawaii Green)

I love this harness for my traveling kitty. The harness is adjustable, comfortable, well fitting, aesthetic, functional and durable. The quality is very good and I can see this lasting a long time. The clips fasten and are quite strong. It’s really easy to put on with only two clips to fasten. The design is very cute too!

My cat has done incredibly well with this harness. She is comfortable in it and moves naturally and easily while walking. I did need to train her to get used to the leash, and what worked best was putting the harness on her every day—even if it was just for 30 seconds to one minute—until she became comfortable wearing it. I did not use any treats during training. Each day, when I put it on and took it off, I simply praised her so she would associate the harness with something positive. That consistency really helped build her confidence. Even now, whenever we go outside, I praise her for a job well done each time I put the harness on and take it off. Once she adjusted, I started walking her in the garage where there was minimal noise and fewer distractions. That made a big difference. After that, she was a pro! She now confidently walks outside on our back patio and truly enjoys spending time outdoors. The harness is easy to adjust and very simple to put on and take off. The leash is also long enough for my purposes, giving her room to explore while still keeping her safe and secure. Even when she’s so excited and darts out the door for her daily walks, she is completely secure. As a side note, I previously tried a vest-style harness, and she completely refused to wear it. I believe the bulkiness made her uncomfortable. This harness, however, fits well without feeling heavy, and she clearly prefers it. I’m so happy I found this one—it has made outdoor time enjoyable for both of us!

After trying out the "new version" of this harness set up from PetThem, I've come to the conclusion that newer isn't always better! I have had issue with the newer harness as my buddy was able to easily slip out of it making it useless to use outside. So I went on the search for another harness and found this one by the same company. I am pleased with the quality this company has with its products so I wasn't scratching them off yet. This harness the quality was also high and actually is better too. Thanks to it have actual real adjustments that can me made, I was able to it escape proof. The design is just better and I was pleased to see the clips were not the break away kind. Break away clips are nice to have with collars for obvious reasons but with a harness to make sure your buddy is with in your close supervision, they definitely don't need break away. I tested it after clasping them together and pulling hard to see if they would break away and they didn't, perfect! So I simply sized the neck collar portion of the harness like his regular collar making sure a finger can easily slip between him and the material once clasped. Then I adjusted the back strap to be sure it was tight enough that he would be able to wiggle his arms back through. So now it is secure but also not uncomfortably tight on him either. The eyelet is in the middle of the two straps which is great because it allows the leash to be out of his way but also if I have to pull him back, I doesn't force the front of the collar to go against his head. This is a design flaw with others I've had close to this one. They would have the leash connect on the front collar part which can make it easier to slip over your buddy's head. The material has a nice pattern with a matching leash which is exceptionally longer than I had expected it to be. You can easily use any other leash with this harness if you wish but the matching one is perfect as is. It does not stretch though mind you so if they decide to start running away, they will get stopped abruptly. Though with position of the eyelet to connect the harness as mentioned earlier, they shouldn't be harmed. Over all this is finally the harness I've been looked by for to replace his older one that he grew out of. And there is so much adjustment that can be made still as he continues to grow over the years. So my advice to PetThem is to keep this design in the forefront or keep in mind the points that make it so great when looking into moving on to a different design. Overall for the safety of your furry friends who wish to enjoy the outdoors, this harness is highly recommended by me and Midnight even gives it two paws!

Great product with a wide range of adjustable measurements open neck and trunk. So, I don't have to keep buying different harness as the kitten grows. The colors are quite bright and cheerful especially on a grey blue fur. I somehow liked the idea of large breathable fabric patch option. My 6 months kitten just got out of that harness. It's a good thing I tried to walk her inside the house first! When I got this product, I left it for my kitten to check it out and get used to it. I started with the smallest measurements and I was able to secure it quite easily. My kitten moved about and chased interactive toys around - so quite comfortable. So, l put the leash on and walked her around. The item is quite compact and well made and my kitten hasn't escaped the harness yet. After a couple of days, I'll take her out in the yard and start to get her walking. She is otherwise an indoor Russian Blue cat which apparently tends to have weight problems if eating and exercising are not maintained.

Worked out perfectly and is the first harness she couldn't slip out of. Very pleased with this purchase.

This harness is, indeed, escape-proof which is such an important factor, HOWEVER, they need to make it larger for cats who like their meals. My kitty is a about 13 pounds so a hefty girl but not anywhere close to the size/weight that many cats reach. She loves to go outside and so doesn't complain as I squeeze her into this harness let out at its fullest width, but I worry about it cutting into her underarms and am going to have to find something else that fits better.

Very good and adjustable! Doesn't fit for my 15lb cat but fits perfectly on my 10-11 lb. Easy to put on. And he can move around pretty good. He seems pretty comfortable in it as well.

Great collar, easy to use. Our new kitten was not patient eith getting a collar put on. But the way this collar gets put on is so nice and easy on the cat. A few weeks later and she loves putting it on to go outside. And the breakaway clips work. Not sure what happened, but she came running into the house one day without it and we went and tracked it down, cause we had the tracker attached to it. So we know it works. Good collar. Would definitely recommend.
