I was looking for a brace for either wrist due to recurring carpal tunnel. What I didn’t realize was that it was a child’s splint. But I have small wrists and average hands and it turns out it fits and functions for me. But I wouldn’t recommend for adults unless they have small hands like children.It has amazing thumb support that I need because without it my wrists remain painful. Carpal tunnel as many know is very painful. In this brace I can still use my fingers, and my hands for some things, but it immobilizes enough to give my wrists sufficient support and immobilization when I need it.It is awkward to adjust straps. Might be more so for children so adults most likely will have to adjust for them. It’s also inconvenient for me to have to switch out the metal bar when you need to switch hands, as not all braces require that. For me, I do that often because of problems in both hands. Not a big deal if you are using on one side.Priced a few dollars higher than most similar splints I’ve owned and seen at $24.99 at the time I ordered.

This comes ready to use for the right hand. I initially couldn't figure out how this could be used for the left hand since one side has a stiff piece that conforms to the palm of your hand. If used on the left hand this piece ends up on the top of your hand. I figured out that the whole thing will turn inside out if you remove the stiff bar from the palm of the brace and insert it on the opposite side. You will also need to remove the one for the thumb in order to turn it inside out and then re insert it. The velcro bindings are conformed to use on the right hand as well so you will need to do some maneuvers to get this to wrap on the left hand. Having said all that it fits my right hand perfectly, which is what I needed it for. I am an adult and have small hands so this youth size fits me great. It is made well and sturdy. It's comfortable to wear as well. The material is soft and doesn't irritate your skin. It keeps your hand, thumb and wrist straight and secure.

This is not a good fit for me. I’m pretty sure I read this as described as fit, both hands, but it only fits the right hand. Look at me, I got it from my right hand, but I am 6 foot one and this is a little too small for me compared to others I’ve used in the past

Got this just in time. My daughter boxes and sprung her wrist the day this came in. Worked well to let it heal.
