The only downside is the higher price, but if you're looking for a reliable, well-made power strip for a dorm or home office, I think it's worth the investment.

Have been searching for a travel outlet strip for a while that wasn't a real estate hog - and this is it. The flat design makes it packable at the bottom or on top across everything in my roller. It definitely has a quality feel, the cord is flat and flexible enough to accommodate weird angles. Surge protection switch for sensitive electronics like computers and gaming systems - ample number of outlets and USB ports for all your charging needs. The 5' cord and the flat plug makes it easier to reach behind a nightstand or bed for an outlet in most hotel rooms. Would hate to leave it by accident so I went with the white colored version. It's still a 5 from me because it met my needs for packing. But some might take a star off for the power indicator light - it is super bright at night - almost like a night light - great for some people. Just not me so I just put a dimming sticker on it.

Plus, since Anker is such a good brand, the overall value for money is a definite plus. It's a nicely designed, highly functional, and essential upgrade for managing power and charging needs. I bought this because my old power strip had a thick round cord that made my floor mat stick up just enough to block my snack drawer. First-world problem? Absolutely. But it was driving me crazy. This flat cord fixed it perfectly. It lays flush against the floor, the mat stays flat, and my drawer opens all the way now. The power strip itself feels sturdy, and the outlets are spaced well. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the built-in USB-C PD port wouldn’t charge my MacBook. Using my Apple charging brick in one of the AC outlets worked just fine, so it wasn’t a huge issue, but I expected the USB-C port to work better. Overall, if you want a quality power strip with a genuinely flat cord, I’d still recommend it. My snacks are finally accessible again.

This power device is brilliantly designed. It replaced an old school power strip and two extension cords with a much less bulky and now SAFER desk set up. The USB and USB C ports are charging efficiently & I'm thrilled to plug in without the the charging interface that took up so much room. The messy tangled set up I had has been replaced with a sleek device that is portable if needed. The cord length to the wall plug is generous (around 56".) Although I don't need it, I now have three AC plugs OPEN. It's a little thing but not seeing or dealing with that tangled mess makes me so happy. Well done ANKER!

I got 2 of the Anker Power Strips with 300J surge protection for use with my aquariums, and they’ve been working great. With multiple tanks, I needed something that had both standard outlets and USB ports to handle heaters, air pumps, lights, UV lights, and filters all in one setup. These have been perfect for that. Everything plugs in cleanly, and I like having the USB ports available for smaller devices and accessories. You can also immediately feel the quality—these are heavy, solid units that don’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. Big fan of Anker in general, and these are another example of why. Reliable, well-built, and exactly what I needed for my aquarium setups.

Great power strip. I use it on my nightstand and it looks great. I like that it has multiple USB ports so I can charge various devices at the same time. I also like the flat plug, since I didn't have enough space for a regular plug between my nightstand and the wall.

I probably have more than 2 dozen Anker electronic products and this one does not disappoint, I like the low profile and its beveled design. I have more than enough AC outlets on my desktop now, not to mention 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A ports. It's really great! The only thing missing is some sort of detachable mount so that we don't need to permanently screw this on to a wall. I'm using it on my desktop so I don't want to use the included screws and ruin my expensive desk. I guess I could just buy 3M mounting tape but then I want something that I can just detach when I need to use this elsewhere.

As for the USB charging ports, just check in advance whether they will meet your needs. Here is a quick summary of the USB ports (info is from the Anker website): When you only have one device plugged in and you use the USB-C port on the left, it can deliver 20W using the Power Delivery (PD) standard; if you use the USB-C port on the right, it can deliver 15W using the PowerIQ (IQ) standard. Either of the USB-A ports can deliver 12W using the IQ standard. Once you have multiple devices plugged in at once, they share power and max out at 15W shared. If you need more power, just plug your regular charger into one of the six 120V outlets and charge that way. Overall, I'm really pleased with the convenient size and versatility.
