Works well with bleach
In fact, the bottle says not to use it with anything except bleach...which I found a little off. I used this with a toner as well and it worked ok, but I think it was a little too harsh. For bleaching though, it's great. I think it took 3 separate treatments to lift my medium brown hair to a light enough blonde that I could dye it silver. But it also helped to take out the blue/green dye that wouldn't fade on its own. I used clairol bleach powder, and after those 3 treatments, the hair that had been blue was almost white with just the faintest green. I dyed it pastel mauve before going to original plan of silver just to help counteract the green with a warm color. I haven't seen any traces of blue or green since, so I'm happy.

Does the job
I used this with L'Oreal Quick Blue Powder Bleach and Wella Color Charm T18 to lighten my medium blonde hair to platinum. I had previously tried the Feria Absolute Platinum boxed kit to achieve this goal, but this developer and the Quick Blue worked much better. I like how the mixture stayed creamy and didn't dry out while it was processing. It lifted my hair to a pale butter blonde and the toner zapped the yellow right out. My hair still feels like hair, not dry and crunchy. Overall, I'm very happy with this developer.

Finally smth to cover my grays
I have a lot of grays. I'd been using a lot of different coloring systems and products and none of them worked as well as this one. It lasts longer and covers all of my grays much better, even the more resistant ones on the temples and forehead. I am so happy now I don't have to color my hair as often as I used to before.

PERFECT FOR DARK BROWN TO BRIGHT RED HAIR!! With Loreal Magenta Hi Color Head Color
wife had dark brown hair she used this with 30 developer and now she has bright red hair, she used two tubes of this to make it that way and worked the first time. No longer need to go to a salon and much better than any other home products she tried. we tried it after watching a video on you tube to know how to do it.

Good with all lighter shades.
You were out of stock on one bottle- usually I get the 2. Pack. This I use with Loreal 10 NB; Always use more developer than the kit provides.

Not sure if this product was no good or the hair dye I purchased along with it ...
Not sure if this product was no good or the hair dye I purchased along with it from Loreal Paris. I wrote a review on both, I was trying to use H10 Copper Red Loreal excellence Hi color (black box) followed directions and my hair did not come out as vibrant at all. More dull hint of red and dark ends. My hair is not dark at all either! I did a first process, then 6 weeks later another and still the same results.

Hard to find in stores.
The best for lightening hair. Hard to find in stores. Amazon is always easier than a special trip to a Beauty Supply for a single product. This works on my hair without a brassy effect.-- The Wife

Did not lift my hair color
I've been "frosting" my hair for the past 40 years so have it down pat. This developer did not develop. I ordered this product previously from another selling and it worked great. Using the same powder bleach, this did not lift. I tried twice to frost my hair. Both times it failed. Wish I could've returned this but by the time I used up the last bit of developer and tried twice with this product, the return "window" closed. Always take a chance ordering beauty products thru Amazon. This time I lost.
