Awesome compact power option for DJI Focus Pro
I wanted a power option for my DJI focus pro controller to avoid needing the DJI battery grip which takes up space and needs charging. This unit is quite compact and works perfectly and allows me to power my focus pro controller using my Vmount battery via Dtap and also pass through power to my focus motor and lidar. Also to clarify the unit locks in place and is solidly connected to the focus pro controller. You don't need to use the locking attachment it comes with which doesn't fit anyway.

It definitely works
Does the job of connecting your gimbal to a base plate. The power connects well with a stable connection. Very durable, very sturdy fits like a glove with no compatibility issues. It just works wirh my rs3 pro!

A total game-changer for long shoots on the RS4 Pro!
I added this power supply base plate to my RS4 Pro, and it has completely transformed how I handle long shoot days. Instead of relying solely on the gimbal's standard battery grip, this plate lets me route continuous power to the whole setup seamlessly. When paired with a V-mount battery, I never have to worry about the rig dying in the middle of a long event or production. The build quality is exactly what you expect from SmallRig, incredibly rigid and secure. That solid construction is exactly what you need when balancing a heavy mirrorless setup, and it locks into the DJI ecosystem flawlessly without any annoying wiggle or play. It also keeps the center of gravity low and manageable. If you run extended video shoots and need a reliable, heavy-duty power solution for your gimbal, this is an absolute must-have piece of kit. Highly recommend!

Solid adaptation for your Ronin
Solid adapter. The extra mount makes it feel like my ronin isnโt going anywhere.

Solid product, but not for my setup
The SmallRig Power Supply Base Plate is a great product โ well-built and reliable. I ended up returning it because I decided to power my gimbal via USB-C instead of D-Tap, but the quality and design are excellent. If youโre using D-Tap for your rig, this would be a solid choice.
