Disappointed sound
Doesn't 'ping' when the time is up...what's the point?!?

No bell ring? Here's a tip...
Because this is an entirely mechanical device, it'll need enough energy from the winder to ring the bell. If you're only setting it for a few minutes, wind it around to about half-way (say 30 minutes), then rotate it back down to where you need it. This will give the mechanism enough energy to ring the bell - problem solved. :) A cute little kitchen timer.

I like this cute timer. I bought it because I am a mum of teenagers and I needed to book an appointment to use the loo ๐ just wind it up and set it at the desired time (no battles needed) works a treat, nice and loud! Your times up now get out LOL๐ฟ๐ฐ

Not fit for purpose
This stopped working after a few days. Cute looking but not fit for purpose. Waste of money

Cute and helpful when it works
I use it for the pomodoro method. But sometimes it doesn't ring. So I lose track of my times. Also, the ring its a bit loud but I that is not an issue for me, it was expected.

Troubleshooting
Why did you choose this product over others?: Ordered this because daughter needs timers and loves penguins. Didn't work, so for ease and everyone else, you have to turn it all the way round and then back to the time you want, then and only then did it work properly. Remember this if you order

Entgegen einiger Kommentare hier, kann ich nur bestรคtigen, das die "Eieruhr" sehr gut funktioniert! Wie einige in den Kommentaren den Tipp bereits gegeben haben, muss man diese zeitschaltuhr einfach einmal komplett auf 60 Miuten aufdrehen und dann wieder zurรผck auf die gewรผnschte Minutenzahl! Die Uhr klingelt etwa 90 Sekunden vor Ablauf der Zeit, so dass man ganz entspannt aufstehen und nachm Essen schauen kann! Sie ist nun seit etwa einem halbem Jahr im Einsatz und ich habe mir gleich noch eine zweite gekauft! Beide Motive (Rote Eule und schwarzer Pinguin) sehen optisch auch sehr sรผร und dekorativ aus! Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und reibungslos!
