I bought this for sharpening scissors. The directions are simple however I do not find that this product does a great job of sharpening. It is awkward and difficult to bull the scissors through. I wish that there was a better way.

Great product and price
Does what it says. Makes scissor sharpening so easy and just takes a minute. I had to sharpen the scissor point to pivot to correct the gouges in the blades before I could sharpen from pivot to blade point/tip.
