LG Hing (Asafoetida) 100g (3.5oz)

I was running out of hing, one of my favorite spices, but I forgot to pick it up at the Indian grocery store. So, when I got the delivery, I didn't have to miss a day without it!

I use this product to keep away snakes and for other outdoor uses.

Came highly recommend to me by a friend for authentic Indian dishes. Very aromatic so I store the container in a mason jar.

Have used it in the past, it's good quality hing.

This stunk up my whole house before I had even opened the package it was shipped in. It smells like a combination of chlorine gas and farts. It also contains wheat which is poisonous to me. It is non-returnable, and they sent me TWO bottles of this. I don't even want one. The bottle says "Not for sale in India" which makes me wonder what is wrong with it.

This is an authentic product made in India, it's properties emote a strong pungent aroma. I've been buying this perticular brand from various retailers since 1980!

Having tried other brands that cost more but were yummy, I thought I'd save a little money and try this one. I ended up throwing it out. It looks and tastes like a chemical rather than the seasoning blend I had hoped for.
