I used these to put tinsel in my hair. They are a good tiny size for thin hair. When I secured one of theminto my hair, it cut it all off but that might have been user error. It was only 10ish strands in the middle of my head so I don't really care. The other 25 or so I put in were completely fine. You can get 10-15 strands of thin hair and maybe 5-10 strands of thick hair into the beads. I picked these because they were a lot tinier than other options, and they did not disappoint.
