Neschen Filmoplast P Archival Mending Tape, 1" x100'

This tape is good quality and works well for its primary purpose of putting fragile documents back together. I have two large certificates from 100 years ago which were so broken and fragmented that I thought they were unsalvageable, but this tape made reconstruction possible.From the product description, I anticipated that the tape could be burnished onto the underlying paper being repaired so that the tape would be invisible, but it was still quite noticeable. I’d definitely use it again but don’t expect this tape to “disappear”.One critical initial impediment to me was learning how to take a strip of tape off the backing. This sounds trivial but it definitely wasn’t. The packaging needs to be improved and some directions provided to make this easier.
