Fast, well-made
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this card reader since june 3 with my Nextorage 480GB CFexpress Type A card.It works exactly as expected -super fast transfers, no connection drops, no weird glitches. I’ve already transferred over 400GB of video content through it, and it handled everything smoothly. One thing I really like: it comes with both USB-C and USB-A built-in, so I can easily use it with different devices without carrying extra adapters. I’ve tested it on Windows and Mac, and it was plug and play on both. The build quality is also surprisingly good - it doesn’t feel cheap. The casing feels solid, and the connectors are firm and well-made.No complaints at all.

Fast and Reliable Card Reader
I use CF Express Type A cards in my camera. This card reader allows me to quickly offload massive amounts of data to my desktop computer for post processing. To get the best use of this device, you should use it in a 3.1 (or newer) USB port. However the interface will be able to downgrade to earlier versions. The device supports the type C mechanical connection and has an attached type A adapter. I use the reader with the adapter in a 3.1 port. The issues I see are the typical Windows 10 USB mishandling of removable media. I don't perceive that this device makes anything worse in that regard.

I should have found this much sooner. Now I wonder why I have been paying so much money for readers?
I am a longtime, full time working professional photographer and I have used ALL of the top brand readers over 33 years. I needed an extra one for another computer and thought I would save a little money and try this one. I should have found this much sooner. Now I wonder why I have been paying so much money for readers? This is made very well, works perfectly and even has a feature that not of my very expensive ones have, which is a push to eject which is so smooth on all my pro cards. It seems like a small thing but it is very nice. Bill Mahon Photo & Video

A great buy
Works flawlessly with no issues at all. I really appreciate that USB-C is prioritized, with Type-A included as an adapter instead of it being the default. The build quality is great, made of aluminum, and feels solid in hand. The card is detected instantly every time, no lag or connection issues.Overall, it’s a great buy its reliable, well-built, and thoughtfully designed.

Works fine, but could have been better.
Works as advertised, seems to be as fast as another CFexpress reader I have, but unlike the other one doesn't also have an SD slot. This would be a much more useful reader with the SD slot; for now it's living with my desktop which has an SD slot while the other reader with the CFexpress and SD slot goes on the road with me. One star off for lacking the SD slot.My ratings: just like school - A - excels. B - does a solid job, could do a little better C - does the job, but barely D - either doesn't work, is cheaply made or has major issues. F - flat out doesn't work or is actually dangerous. Vine reviews get the same scrutiny as products I paid for.

Great speed and convenience
Great device. Speeds are really fast with either usb A or C. Also great that the lanyard is connected so you don’t lose the adapter

Works like it should! Don't waste time with Camera Manufacturer utilities to transfer photos!!!!
Does exactly what it should! I wasted over an hour trying to use the manufacturer utility to transfer photos from the camera (Nxkxn) to my external SSD and it was not intuitive at all and just plain annoying. Their utility is OK for in-field (no laptop, but Smartphone) use, but do yourself a favor and ditch that for home use - go straight to where the files are and copy them over!

Good value product
I have used this a couple of times, and it worked fine. I have only recently moved to express cards from SD's with my camera. While the camera cyclyes internally much faster with the express cards, the transfer from express cards to my external drive bank is not much faster than the SD cards I have been using. The lack of extremely high transfer rate may be due to the external drives rather than this reader of the express cards or the express card. Anyway, it works and seems well made for the price.
