You may notice that they tell you how to circumvent issues with the number of switches and/or reversing switch directions. That made me hesitant, and I didn't even know what the specs were of my garage gate yet because the HOA hadn't replied to me yet. I went for it anyway. As it turns out, it did have the wrong number of switches. Right away I expected to be returning then. But of course I had to give it a chance.So I followed the directions provided for extra switches. It still didn't work. With ever-lessening hope, I reversed each active switch. It worked!I've been impressed with these cheap little things. It's nice to have 3, one for each person plus a back-up. It's small enough to go on my key chain (my keyless car fob is really the biggest thing on it). The range is better than expected. I've been using it for 3 months now with no issues.

Got this to get in the gate of my mom's community.This teeny remote has a 12-pinsequence, easy to replicate from the original remote they provided to her.Its tiny size is easy to fit anywhere in my console and came in beige to coordinate with my car's interior AND be easy to see in the dark well of my black console.

I bought these so I wouldn't have to carry my bulky car garage opener & about 3 months in it just stopped working. Code hasn't changed, batteries work, even the light turns on but it does not connect to my car garage any more. A waste of time having bought it & getting less than a years worth of use.
