Vinegar works really well to remove coffee scale in coffeemakers and carafes, metal mugs etc. But the smell isn't always something you want. In a workplace, especially, cleaning out the coffeemaker shouldn't overwhelm the office with the smell of vinegar. It does what it does quite well, and it'll last a long time. I wouldn't buy this just for home use, but since I have it, I use it for at-home purposes too. You get quite a lot.

I love that I will get 10 cleaning cycles out of this order because it was like two dollars a clean. It's a great value for the money. A lot of the other ones I have found are double the price for this money uses it uses lactic acid instead of citric acid, which is supposed to be more gentler on the machine and I definitely, want to get the life out of my espresso Maker

It delivers good results. I use it on the coffee filtering cycle and to clean the inside of my tea pots and the electric range tops.
