Not too much to say about these. They're sand timers that, as far as I can tell, keep accurate time. They come in a set of time increments for various needs. They're plastic. These aren't meant to be luxury items--but they're priced very cheaply and therefore deserve the five stars. Be careful not to slam them down when starting time. I did that with a minuteglass (not one in this set) and it became non-functional. (No knock on this specific set type, but be mindful). A nifty, fun little item, useful for sports, board games, etc.

I got these timers for my student who needed quite reminders about time management. They are very quiet, and they are accurate to the times on them. They help a lot with time management, and the colors help them differentiate which is which. They are very functional and I will be buying more!

Miniature hourglasses stand on their own and come in various times and colors. Just what I needed to help time students I tutor who need that timer competition to motivate them. The kids love them.

I bought these to use for my work. I sample data over time and want to make sure I have enough before moving on. For the most part they work for that! I learned to place them down briskly to assure they start. An obvious improvement would be to mark the time for each on both ends. After one use, the duration is only on the bottom. The stream on the 10 minute timer was so tiny I used a flashlight to make sure it started. A few times it stopped while counting so I threw it out. I don't think I would give kids toys made from glass, but they are encapsulated in plastic tubes. The two minute timer was off at a bit of an angle. Overall, met my expectations for the price.
