FPGAs can be made to emulate microcontrollers or CPUs, such as the Cortex-M core resources from DesignStart. However, Digilent does not have any resources dedicated for this type of development. -Digilent Tech Support

Do i need to purchase vivado design suite? if yes, what is the price?

Is there a recommended external power adaptor here on Amazon?
