Flat Front Sight Post - Orange

Makes it easier for my old eyes!

I put this in a UTG Super Slim fixed front sight. Unfortunately, I failed to notice that the detent on the UTG isn't in the standard location, and as such the sight sits at an angle if the detent is in a slot. This in now way is a reflection on the Blitzkieg sight... I just didn't pay enough attention before ordering. THAT SAID... It's highly visible and I'm going to try just zeroing it and using some blue locktite on it to hold it in place between detents. It's a backup sight for a 9mm and is there to help protect my top-mounted flashlight rocker as much as anything.

Regular black front post sights are hard to pick up in some outdoor lighting, and this red front post is a definite improvement short of going for a tritium night sight (not really needed for my purposes). Have it on a Magpul MBUS and a Troy folding Front Sight. Installation was easy with the Magpul, but difficult with The Troy Industries sight....still got it done, and it works OK. This wasn't the fault of the Blitzkrieg, but more a problem of the Troy front sight shroud getting in the way. Is this as good as a tritium sight? No, but again, good enough for my purposes and would definitely recommend.

Nice front site. Love the way my old eyes see it.**Two years later & purchased a third one.**Great on ARs & Sub2K {install took a bit longer}.**The orange 'POPS', excellent contrast. For me, it's a better BUIS than fiber optic on long guns.

My only concern is that the threads are a little longer than my factory sight so it either sits high or I will need to cut off the end of the threads.
