I didn’t need to buy another Dyson V8 cordless!
The media could not be loaded. I received the canister 10 minutes ago and l was able to figure out how to remove the old one and place the new one. EASY and bingo! My vacuum works perfect now. I can explain but l lost the canister’s tap so l search online yesterday for Dyson parts and l found that Amazon sells them all!! WHAT A BLESSING!!! Today l have a total “new vacuum “ YAY!

Bit of a tight fit
Works, but took some wiggling to adjust it to fit and it's still tight, requires more effort than the original to open and empty. But it does work if you can be a little patient and fit it carefully.

The bin works well but the suction has improved so much that my battery has to work harder and wears down quicker.

Perfect replacement for OEM part
We inherited a Dyson cordless stick vacuum with a dust canister that had cracked apart around the top rim, making it difficult to empty. This part was a cheap repair and is working perfectly. The instructions for replacing the old dust canister with the new one were IKEA-style (all drawings), which was all we needed. Thank you!
