I bought this to try at work.It works great for some of the testing we do. I had to bump the voltage up to 24v to get the travel rate I needed, but it did what I wanted.

Tried item and it does not work, complete garbage, returned and bought a quality one instead

Decent basic linear actuator. Says it's rated for up to 330lbs. Needs a 12 volt power source. You'll need to purchase or provide the switching to control it, but it does come with brackets. I wanted this for a project and I think it will work out for that. Looks to be built well.

First impressions, this is one heavy duty unit, I mean real heavy duty. it is well made with a great fit and finish, just looks good. Connected 12 volts to it and it powers up as it should. Of course it's not a fast actuator, takes time to go all the way out. Even though it is 10 inch, you can't appreciate it until it extends out. I switched the wires and it pulls back in, takes a while, but retracts just find.And this one actually came with instructions, the last one did not. It was helpful because I was not sure how to reverse it. Hey, I am no actuator expert. You just switch the wires and it goes backwards.In my title I said it works, only because the last actuator I reviewed, from a different brand, did not even budge when I powered it. So happy this one actually does what it is suppose to.Happy with this, fair price, would recommend.

This actuator seems to b very solid. I have not yet set it up yet but my plans are to use it for a chicken coop door or lets say a turkey coop door. I need to use it for a door that is large enough for turkeys. I think this actuator will do the job.

The linear actuators works well. But leave yourself some time if you need to re-order.I ordered the 200mm (8 inch) stroke units. Amazon shipped me a 300mm (12 inch stroke) units. The manufacturer box label was correct stating 300mm, but Amazon's label said 200mm. The longer units would not fit, so I returned the 2 units I ordered and Amazon immediately replaced them. This time the 2 units shipped from different locations. Unfortunately, I again received 2) 300mm stroke units that had the same incorrect labeling on them. At this point, my project was going to be late, so I spent a couple hours modifying the equipment so I could fit the oversized units in. The system works as designed but looks clunky with the oversized actuator.

The actuator looks decent and its unloaded speed is as advertised. The limit switches work properly. I ordered the 200mm actuator and received the 300mm actuator. The Amazon sticker list it is 200mm and the manufacturer sticker on the box says 300mm. I am unable to exchange it. No reply from the seller.I can not recommend this product.
