Hands down THE BEST album to experience while....um, "under the influence". I have not dabbled in psychadelics for 20+ years....but this was the go to album. On ownit's own, it is a good album, yet the main track was created with intention that it would be listened to while in an altered state of mind. Amazing.

I used to play this late at night to annoy my roommate and his girlfriend.

I don't know why anyone would not enjoy this masterpiece. This is true Psychedelic, Space Rock at it's finest ! Killer Guitar, Driving Bass, Drums are cool, and last but not least some killer sounds from the other side of the sky ! Listen on headphones for full effect. Why do you think it's called "TAB" for? In the good old Hippie days , you would get a " tab" of acid , and go for a "trip" , and then put on a real long Space Jam like this classic from Monster Magnet ! Take it from an old Hippie, this is a wild ride, you might not want to hear it everyday, but when you do .... WOW ! WHAT A RIDE !! Peace .

SKIP IT -- NOT A Relevant Record for this genre. Other than the nostalgia of it being their first album recorded. DID NOT AGE WELL !! GOD, I am so glad I survived my twenties; because this record does not sound the way it did back then. Just being brutally honest. This is a record for if you're into getting as un-sober as possible (the psychedelia is present; not the musical aspect). Being hammered might be the only way to get into a record that sounds like a bunch of throw away tunes published after the fact -- Only for the hardcore Monster Magnet fan. But Seriously Rock Fans, You'll want to pick up their 'Dopes To Infinity' album and then move forward accordingly --and then --only then, go back to the beginning............

Total and utter disapointment from a great band. I own all their other stuff, so take it from a fan. There is a reason this was out of print, it's a one time listen and then----the huh really? Anyway, you won't listen to it ever again and it will sit as a little collectors item from M.M. until you try to sell for a 50.00 when it goes out of print again---lol. Start anywhere else with this great band. Dopes to Infinity is where I started.
