Works very well!
Bought this product as well as a solar mat the two combined raised the temperature about 8-10 degrees in a few days, i keep cover on pool at night which helps alot. Only thing i will say if your using a extension lead make sure its cable is thick enough to handle the heater as i used a cheap one first and the plug melted after getting way to hot. Spent £20 on a decent one from screwfix and works lovely now. Also recommend having it on permanently or the pool just wont hold the heat, brace yourself for big electricity bill though haha

Pointless
Don't bother buying this. It didn't heat the pool at all. I thought you would be able to control the temperature but you can't. Continually had error messages about the filter which was correctly fitted. Tripped the electric too so you couldnt leave it on for lengthy periods. Absolute waste of money and returned it after trying it for 1 week.

Great but incredibly expensive to run!
The reviews on this are quite polarising, with the bulk of the bad reviews seemingly related to either purchasers outside the UK who don’t have the right voltage/plugs, or problems with the heater tripping out the electrics.I have an outside plug near where my pool is situated which is a normal voltage UK plug installed by an electrician, so I was comfortable I wouldn’t have issues that others have had.I bought the heater this week and had it up and running in about 20-30 minutes. It would have been much quicker but there was some leakage from one of the tubes. I actually worked out I’d put the tube on too far so the rubber o-ring wasn’t aligned correctly. Once I worked this out and retracted the tube a little the leak stopped.I connected the filter to the pool by the water coming out, then onto the heater and back into the pool. There is a trip switch built into the plug, similar to what you use on lawn mowers and turning the unit on is dead easy.I’m using a 10ft round pool with a metal frame which holds just shy of 5,000 litres. I don’t know what the temperature was when I started but it was very cold. It was 5pm on Monday, and I left it running for 24 hours. By that point the temperature was up to about 32° which was more than warm enough for us.The main issue is the running cost, with our electricity bill for the Tuesday over £15 when it’s usually around £4-5. That’s £10 extra for the heater running from midnight until 5pm, so it’s about 60p a minute. In summary I am really impressed, simple to set up, simple to use and does what it says it will do. It is expensive but for me I think it’s worth it for the value the kids get out of it, and we won’t use it every day.

DO NOT BUY THIS HEATER
Bought this heater because it was affordable and the UK is cold for this time of year. Didn’t even get a chance to see if it heated the pool because the plug and wire gets so hot it trips the electric. This product is extremely dangerous and is going to cause a serious fire if it isn’t taken off the shelves soon. Save your money and put it towards something better and safer! Would have been rated 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me!

Takes a while but does its job
Unboxed, set up and followed instruction booklet. Works just fine, doesn’t heat the pool fast i have been recording with a thermostat the pump heats output water to 1°c warmer than the pools current temperature. Pool was 14°c at 10pm last night and is now 18.5°c at 10am the next day. For reference i have a 12ft pool with approx 7,500L of water. Note i live in Scotland so its freezing outsideIts not worth £100 but if you value your comfort in the pool then its worth buying . You must read the instructions properly and follow the initialisation procedure. Overall im happy with this purchase

Works well with Intex pools
I bought this to go with a 6-foot Intex pool. Firstly, just to say that this does work and is able to get my pool to heat up at about a degree an hour. It does use a lot of energy in the process. It's important to note that you also need a pump to go with this - it can't pump water itself. Also despite saying "automatic temperature regulation", this isn't really true. It does not have a thermostat setting - it's either on or off, and it cuts out at 40 Celsius. That's way too hot for a paddling pool. This really needs some kind of temperature setting so you can heat a paddling pool to 20-something degrees and make the water more comfortable without having to sell your car to pay for the electricity.
